That's amazing cant wait to see them. My quick gorillas photos are really fattening up fast now but no mould yet but im checking daily.  Nice and frosty but not ready yet.   I'm amazed at the size.

I will go check my guerilla plot as well as I'll take heed of your warning.

We are in October now so bets are on if I can get a harvest of photoperiods this far north on such a miserable wet year.  It's looking hopeful for now but who knows

Hey, Hows it going?

My plants all taken down now, our season is getting too rough, rain has been bad last couple days, I dug lower half up and am finishing indoors, maybe you could do that too?
If you don't mind me kind of hi-jacking your thread just a tiny little bit here is a couple photos I took while I was harvesting some top buds, I think they were a good couple
weeks early but I have some drying now and have to say they look pretty decent just a bit more like lower buds than tops unfortunately but I think I was right to bring them
in as it's been raining none stop, rather harvest early than none at all.

Don't mind my Foot, trying to get the angle on the photo correct. :wanker:

Hanging to dry now.. they smell lovely bit like cat spray gasoline with a bit of lemon skunk funk if you can imagine.
Lots of trichromes even though had to harvest so early. Thinking they will provide a nice daytime smoke.

Overall, I've had a great time growing them and I'm going to continue with it all be it indoors.
I'm going to do a nice basic 600w 1.2m tent sog next really looking forward to it. looking at some
strains etc probably going to do some autoflowers, smoking some blue amnesia right now from some dude.
Think it is the dinafem varient but I couldn't know for sure.. good smoke anyway :)

So at the guerilla plot today and the last auto is ready looking to me with zero mould   it's a gorilla glue auto and looks delicious large.20191012_145502-756x1008.jpglarge.20191012_145456-756x1008.jpg

The two photoperiod strains I am trying the quick gorilla look beautiful.  They have loads of flowers on them and no sign of no rot which is a miracle as lat 56 in this wet.  I have misplaced my loupe so I'm not sure how ready they are

One is in the greenhouse and one in the outdoor cold frame.   My sunflowers are dying off with the cold so I dont know how long they have before the cold gets them but I'm hoping a little longer

I checked the quick gorilla photos today and there was a spec of mould.  What I have learned this year is once the mould starts showing every day is a bonus.  I still have some nice looking buds there and the quick gorillas are at my house and not the plot so I can check every day easy enough so it's no worries.

There was frost on my sunflowers this morning so I'll just keep checking every day.  Theres no mould I can see on the greenhouse one yet but I'll get some step ladders out to be sure as it's kinda big

The only thing you can do is check daily, remove the mold and if it starts showing to much then crop out  ;)

Now, you up a ladder checking for mold/rot that could prove to be a fun picture lol

I'm picking off letting bits of mould and dont know how much longer I can go and am  not sure if it's ready or not.  What so you think of readiness @Dinafem-Mark?

In any event they are incredible plants with huge buds and a great big size large.20191018_163614-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163607-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163553-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163550-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163401-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163545-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163534-756x1008.jpglarge.20191018_163523-756x1008.jpg

You look close mate but I would still say another 7-10 day's to fully completed this cycle  ;)

Keep being vigilant with your checks and if rot gets to much crop out my friend  :yep:

Have you checked trichome colour and development?

Any Amber? Or all still clear/cloudy?

All the best :bong:

The greenhouse one might need cut down now but I might get a little longer out of the coldframe one as I have managed to pick off all the specs of rot from that one.

So the greenhouse one was needing cut down due to rot but still the monster quick gorilla in the coldframe.

So I dont think the quick gorilla that was cut down early will be too much of a disaster as it had plenty bud on it and made my hands very very sticky.  It's currently drying.  I'm checking the other one every day for rot

The greenhouse one is down and the  coldframe ones is still going strong.

I'm so impressed by it.  I've picked some more rot off it.   I'm at lat 56, in been a really rotten year,  this plant was planted late.   Its bigger than me now and the buds are the biggest I've grown yet.  I am a beginner so cant say its skill so these quick gorillas have really impressed me

Well that's the last plant down as it's hard frosts here and temps are not really getting above 3c now and it takes 6c for most plants to be able to grow and it was very hard frosts at night.  It's a few days early perhaps but I like a high that's more uplifting and have learnt in my other dinafem diary that can be a result of cutting a little early.

I have my last plant of the season the gorilla glue up drying now. Its defo the stickiest and highest yielding plant I have grown to date and it was planted late so maybe i haven't even seen it's full potential.

Cutting it up left weird brown stuff on my fingers and I will update with a smoke report once ready.  I also have a smoke report on my cookies auto to type up as I have tried that now.

I'm so sad that it's the end of the outdoor growing season here is bonnie scotland but what an amazing amount of fun and I am surprised it can be grown outdoors this far  north as both autos and photoperiod strains.

So grateful for the opportunity I have had as this has been so much fun
