smokie1 b c f c Posted April 14, 2018 Author Share Posted April 14, 2018 hi @Whambudsorry i was away from laptop for a while mate. sun is out today. and i am getting the outdoor grow itch now badly. i already have seeds germing here to go out. and loads more too, mostly auto's. ohh about what medium im growing in, im using plagron light mix again, as its cheap, and no bugs, or any gnats/ blackfly's in. 10 per bag i get it for 50l bags. yeah you cant wait to get your lemon zkittles popped, at least you will know what to look for phenotype wise, after seeing how my 4 finish off. i have one bubba island kush too. all the best with them mate, and what your running now too. just shout us if your stuck on sumin. smokie1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

smokie1 b c f c Posted April 14, 2018 Author Share Posted April 14, 2018 i aint checked water ec or ph in years dude. i used to test it with my bluelab truncheon, and no ec at all in cold tap water.. the hot tap used to flash lowest reading for ec. but the cold tap is sound water mate. im in the west midlands, we have good water here. is your water having a ec strait out the tap ? if it is. then just use the ec deducted from your feed mix. so if its say 0.2 ec strait out the tap, and need say the normall ec for early veg, at 1.2 ec. then just mix it till 1.2. in soil growing indoors and deffo outdoors there is no need to ec, or ph your water, as soil is a buffer, and will do it all for you. i know adding lime to your soil mix, or digging a little into a outdoor plot will help the soil buffer the water to the correct ph. but that's when your in a hot country. that needs the soil water regular. in the uk if you prep your plots soil properly, then there should be no need for watering them, after watering them in the ground at plant out.. unless its a heat wave/ drought. or a plot with not very good soil. i have been feeding just 1ml per liter of seaweed extract and 1ml per liter of myco chum. the chum is a mix of seaweed , molasses and fishmix. made in california , strong stuff just like the bio bizz fish mix. stinks like a sweety pum pum gone stale, but the plants love fishmix. all i use is grow and bloom, plant magic oldtimer range. seaweed and now myco chum instead of p/magic grow. i dont use any boosts, or pk's or .... and get the best tasting buds i have grew in 10 plus years. the day i chucked all the boosts and pk's away. my weed changed from like 3 out of 10. to 10, out of 10. and buds burns smooth, with a clean white ash. just my 2p on getting the best quality herb, with just as good yields as when i was using everything under the kitchen sink from the grow shop. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
