Guest
Look nice and squat. That's not a request never get how ppl get plants like this. Mine always start off looking like lanky twats until they mellow out after stretch of bloom. Nice mate atb Hi Chester, using the 315w CMH as a vegging light in a prop tent really seems to work nicely for compact node development as well as growth in general in other areas such as roots. The other explanation is that this is a more short and squat pheno than the other plant. Another is the different pot which is a lot shallower and more saucer like than the other more traditional pot.
Guest
Update time is here again.... Repot time! Update part 2 have had technical problems. PRepared an all singing and all dancing update and the post button ate it all like it was not there. Was a frustrating moment and might need some premiersweet to recover... Please be gentle with your mops people. You might think using one to win you another grow comp might make you happy but what about the mops private life? Please give consideration... they got some stem on em reg ..looking good my man looking good Thanks vince. Here is some root porn as a reward for your lovely comment.... some square root porn n' all... @@Elvis Reg This is looking to be a good show doing well in here Hi @@botanics thanks for stopping by. Trying to document a fluid process which is based largely upon expediency is not always easy but here are some shots of the before and afters from the repots.. square goes with square, big one this 15litres of coco at least. Guest
update time is here again..... Relax brother, your time here is sacred... some nice roots there .. thanks arf. Time to get more going... fappable rootage indeed . had to google that word and was delighted to see the definition is as follows.... fappable Something that is sexually desirable, or deemed high enough quality that it can be used for masturbation purposes. Man, that picture is really fappable. great word as well imo. Thanks Vince. Here is a stone of truth shot.... Great diary this and that cmh certainly ain't hurting in the node department thanks @@SwiftyGreen the CMH is just brilliant for veg. Never had anything better for stopping lanky stretch in veg. Best of all I've not noticed any difference in stretch from hanging off the roof of the prop tent in a fixed position as opposed to lowering it to be close the the plants like I've had to do with CFL's in the past. Here is the 'square' plant now been in flower for 10 days or so and is growing nicely. bit of stress showing on the tips. Might water their feed down a bit if it continues. Very nice pictures and healthy plants! Thanks for posting and happy sweet new year! jaypp Many thanks. Happy new year to you too. Sending good vibes to sweet seeds for 2017... Am really wishing I'd put this in a bigger pot. This is 9.5 litre airpot. She is a monster and will likely need feeding 2x a day at least by the end or she will look super dry like she does on this pic. All that 10 days into flower. Have moved the plant to the front of the tent so it can receive more attention. Those roots look like they've been on steroids Should make for some solid nugs peace hi @@mygreenmojo thanks man. Hopefully. I like solid nugs. This is what has been added to the nute mix to assist roots... It is expensive stuff. Thought it was worth a try. Seems to work well but hard to say without a side by side test. To be honest in the future I'm going to experiment with worm tea as an alternative. They both have a similar aroma. but also dank. See you next time..... Edited January 9, 2017 by Elvis Reg

They are getting big and thirsty though. here are some roots that came out of the root riot cubes used to germinate these '2nd wave' strains... when you consider that these roots are growing out of 3 individual root riot cubes the growth is quite amazing on these genetics. Very vigorous. my grow seems pretty slow moving in comparison to some they look very nice. hehe @@rabthegrower the trick is to keep the updates spaced out so when you read it looks like amazing growth each time. in all seriousness though with only 2 plants to update it was a bit quieter than now.... bit more to do now.
