In truth i had topped a fair few of them and there is that many heads now it would be a task tucking them under, could of possibly had a few more days but sod it there on 12/12 There still on grow nutes at Ec 0.8 and are loving it, drinking 5 gallons a day and eating 0.4 of the ec Ph is always set back to 5.9 ish and drifts upto 6.3 ish over a few days.. I have put em 12/12 with 3/4 feet headroom to go at so should be ok there. Few pics Bit of rootage, doing ok for me as i never get many. There a pleasure to grow as apart from a little training there looking after them selves. The leaves on them tho tell me that nitrogen is over fed as the leaves are cobolt blue ) When i do a tank change i will up the Ec just not with nitrogen. 100l of bloom tank made up of, 200ml of ionic bloom/ 20ml of Silicon/ 20ml of Calmag After that always feed a base of ionic grow well into flower, keeps em green for the photos 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zimmer Posted October 5, 2015 Author Share Posted October 5, 2015 Went to check on the girls this morning to see if the timer was working ok etc after turning to 12/12, one of the bulbs had blown again it did this last time i changed to flower. I run them of a 13 w timer and they have been fine up to now so i guess its time i bought a contactor, more expense I still cant understand what changing hours makes to the lamp but hey ho Ec had dropped to Ec 0.6 overnight again so i added 50ml of flower nutes to boost it back up. They have been tested indoor so should be interesting. Found a few Gnats in the coco side, ill kill em off with a few doses of coffeee Got the new 600w Omega Duel fired in to tnight and the temps started heading back in the right direction. I also turned my gas fire on in there but only to a pilot light as the temps got as low as 16c the other day. The growth on the OG has been to say the least massive. I just put some sticky traps down for now see how we go on. Well they have grown there hearts out this week, so much so i have had to put the second net over them, there is a lot of heads that are under the net but they will catch up, if not i willl lower it It is a really lazy way of growing in nft but it works, very little work apart from a little bit of training in the start. If you need anything explaining answering or what just leave a comment and i will try and answer as soon as Oh i do minimum water changes in the Gt 100 as things are so stable with the 1000lpm chiller pump moving water around as well as the one for the nft, water is changing by 10 ish litres a day anyhow, its kinda like a fish tank feeding itself. @@Dinafem-Mark Mark see how the leaves are dropping back to the greener more desired leaves after the slight drop in N i gave them.
