Whitey Freeze (Fem)

Harvest time: 11th Sept

Latitude of grow: 51

Location: Guerilla

Average yield: 2 / 3 / 4 (see description)

Mold: yes it is susceptible, keep and eye

Year of grow: 2022

Grow again: yes

Whitey Freeze (Fem) produces Photoperiod (Semi auto) as well as Auto Pheno’s. Seeds were grown indoors first and cuttings were taken from the semi auto phenos, while auto phenos were finished at home. The autos are nice, didn’t keep a tab of weights, also were grown bodge style, between a light and a window sill in smallish pots. The autos produced around half Oz each but would defo produce a lot more grown properly in a decent amount of good medium…

Semi Auto cuttings we’re put out early to mid May and all revenged so whole process was slowed down by months .. they did come back though eventually even though it looked grim at one stage.. they came back only growing quite short with loads of heads… cropped around 11th Sept. As well as growing from cuttings I also put some late plant outs grown from seed out around 11th of July after being grown indoors for a couple weeks first… these produced little Xmas trees that were harvested around the same time as the cuttings (unfortunately were being attacked by the rot)  …. Moral of story.. I’d suggest stick Whitey Freeze out around mid June (maybe you can get away a bit earlier) and in the right loose medium would get a lot bigger than mine did (have seen this confirmed by others growing it) as won’t go thru the long drawn out reveg process that took them months to recover from, like my May plant outs. Yield could be a lot larger than what I got then.

The aroma from the dried flower has really improved with a long cure… smells kinda spicey fruity typical weedy.. Is a good option for nice and early harvest:.

Strain/breeder: RGSC

Purple Freeze Bx1

Plant out : Late June / July

Harvest time: Mid Oct+

Latitude of grow: 51

Location: Guerilla

Average yield: 5+ oz per plant

Mold: Has resistance

Year of grow: 2022

Grow again: Yeah

Had two pheno’s. A Proper Purple pheno. Really tasty, sweet sickly candy sweet smell, good mould resistance, packs a punch.. also had a couple of non Purple pheno’s. Fatter chunkier light green coloured buds with pink hairs..less mould resistant ... not as tasty as the Purple pheno but improved after a long cure..

Jus a note about Green Poison Fv

l grew fair bit of it last season … looked wicked on the plant I thought, like indoor

but I found once dried ain’t enough terps in the smell department for my liking …

though might of been to do with my drying method, had to use a dehumidifier etc.. but saying that , a load of the other strains I grew retained nice smell with same drying method .. I did leave one to cook well into oct to.. and did look wicked and smell good on the plant but didn’t translate over to the final product..

the smoke smells good as it’s burning and it does produce nice looking buds even when dry … i’d love to see the end product with the non FV version … I did wonder if the Terps are extra volatile or sumting

another thought .. I believe folks are right about retaining more terps if you leave sugar leafs on for drying … I’ve always wet trimmed cause it’s easier (I find) … but I’m sure that would help with retaining Terps ..

Anyway .. Seen folks report it as good over the years on here…. But for me, it’s been removed from my list for this year

I'm so glad you've said this. I ran Green Poison FV a few years ago and although I gave them the right dry and cure the smell was crap.

Lovely to grow and beautiful smell whilst growing but when it came to the dry product really disappointing.

@Underdog ok you found that to…

Hmmmm ..... Yet the Green Poison outdoors at 52.5 romps home clean ,  well cooked , great flavour and packs a wallop lol

The fem is just simply far better for the extra 10 day gamble over the FV :wassnnme:   lol  lol

You're the exact same Lat as me.

Would you recommend the standard Green Poison then? I've grown the standard indoors and it was utterly beautiful.

Fast versions seem to just grow a certain height generically .

I grew Green Poison FV and they got to 7ft.

I bought 2 packs of killer kush and they just seemed generic and squat outdoors - just go for the pure fems definitely.  You ever got the apple phenos out the green poison?  They do seem to be smaller than normal fems from my experience.

I only ever got the beautiful apple smell from the indoor ones I grew. The outdoor ones, no not really.

Mighty Freeze (Fem)

Harvest time: 01st-11th Oct probably left too long.

Latitude of grow: 52

Location: Guerilla

Average yield: 50-70g

Mold: yes lost 40%

Year of grow: 2022

Grow again: yes nice smell after cure, heavy sedation good at nighttime.

1st time gorilla all done in rush. These were late out 3rd week of June in unprepared spot had about two weeks prep before going in ground organic so had a very slow start. Once the soil got going they kicked into action. Grew 5, had one pink pistil, all looked very different. They all smoke the same very heavy sedative effect. I don’t know if I left them too long before harvest. I lost a lot to mould, combination of bad timing and pushing them too long I think.

I like this strain smells nice and is fairly strong with no ceiling. I’m going to put a few out again this year but earlier, in prepared holes.
