Upgraded to a Ryzen 7 and RTX 3070Ti last year. Been playing the Battlefield 1 campaign over the weekend and and really enjoying it.

Looks good. Prices are just insane for games lately. Not sure I agree with charging full price for early access either. Almost bought diablo 4 but was on the fence due to the price. Changed my mind after trying the open betas. Might buy it when it's on offer.

I wonder if they are planning to charge more on release?  Even some PC games go for £40 - £80 on release these days don't they?

It does look good, almost too much realism!

Like most of the design work I have ever done, nobody gives a crap how long it took you.

It's like growing herb.  Only yourself and other total enthusiasts give a crap.   To everyone else, it is weed and it gets you high.  It either tastes and smells strong or it doesn't.

So disappoint.

Anyone hack OSX on their PC? I’ve got a dual boot Windows and Big Sur.

Getting on a bit but runs sweet since I built it;

Asus Rog Strix Z390

i5 9700k

32gb RAM

8gb RX 580

27” ASUs 200hz monitor

Currently only play COD MW not the latest.

:yep:

No, though I applaud you for doing so because I hate Apple with a passion.
Extreme I know, but it is kind of almost PTSD from my ex employer.

I was running an "old" cos it was ageing tech, and needed very specific motherboards, which i have two, one of which i bought when i had hoped the chip hadn't finally died, but it was the chip :( AMD 9590 FX, ha remember those!? it was oc'd at 5.3ghz using a GIANT heatsink and two fans push pull off two old shit dell systems with RIDICULOUS rpm fans for no real reason, it sounded like a fecking turbojet starting up, but i had stable temps and speeds, and one day it just wouldn't start anymore, was gutted, however i'm probably glad now in a way that i had to "downgrade" to a more modern mobo and cpu, as the wattage for the cpu and fans alone was around the 400w mark, fucking ridiculous really, but i was that guy :D

Now on a ryzen 5 3600, oc'd to 4.38ghz , just 16gb 3600mhz ram oc'd at 3866mhzdraws just over a quarter of the power of the old fx chip, but i did love that scary dinosaur, kept the house warm in winter lmfao

The FX Chips had very poor IPC(instructions per cycle) speeds, that's why even an old 4790k clocked at 3.5ghz smashes a FX 8550 clocked at 6 ghz in gaming.

When I upgraded from a FX 8350 to a I7 6700k was the moment I realised clock ghz speed don't tell the full story.
