Hello Peeps,

Quick update: Less is most definitely more…. I’ve been to the plot twice a week max and so far the results are great without me bodging up all the time trying to tweak with shit creating issues!

Every plant is 6 - 7ft approx, nice structure, nice colour and seem healthy.

I did use a weak powdered nutrients on them today with some more fbb because a couple looked like they could do with a feed. Also spread some more comfrey compost around the base.

There are a few snails and slugs on them but there are no signs that it’s causing issues at the moment…. If I find them they go for flying lessons.

view from far side, most of this row is Ak420 which is loving the conditions outside atm. If anyone else has grown Ak420 outside before please let me know what the smoked like because they really look like great plants.

anyhow good luck and good hunting

Hello everybody peeps,

A little update…. I do hardly anything really, with me tinkering last year and making loads of balls ups decided less is more so I water when it’s needed and give them a little feed once a week. There was a good amount of comfrey leaves, mares tail and a little powdered mix in the holes so I’m guessing that’s helping?

All seem to be doing ok with only a few showing signs of something wrong due to the yellowing but they all still seem to be flowering well…?

Struggled with the photos so not in any order…

Hi Peeps,

Bit of an update….. Fucking heavy rain and strong winds mixed with large buds has made a fair dent in the crop! See below… Some I’ve managed to repair others branches are on the fire but a couple are ripe enough to dry and give a blast. I’ve found my first bit of rot though but disappointed but better than this time last year.

Bud rot

Looks like hurricane Harry has been out to mug me off!!

Damage fixed as best as I could and tripods made for each plant to hopefully protect if it happens again.

Bet your buzzing with how well its gone this year, I missed this diary , just been seeing your 420l pot diary , this year's gone very well, how many did you put in rows , think I remember advising you 3 or 4 rows of 5 looks like you did that or thereabouts maybe makethe plot 4 foot wider and you'll have pukka space for airflow with the numbers you currently have out .

My 2 pence

To be honest I’m a little close to a boundary that the neighbours can get to and they have been a little more allusive than usual! Got my fingers crossed for them to be sound, think they would be ok even if they caught a whiff.

Yeah mate it’s gone really well this year, probably because I didn’t tinker so much. Literally just food water and a little pruning here and there.

With the big pot and 5 wild cards that I’ve got in pots it’s about 30 I started with but 3 didn’t make it so 27 left. Most of them are around 7-8ft hardly any frip or mould, perfect timing with a bit of guidance from your good self thank you.

Next year I’m going to try 1 or possibly 2 runs of autos. Mainly because they stay nice and low plus the added bonus of finishing early whilst there’s more cover and less chance of mould.

What do you think?

Yes pal should be a bumper year for all of us fingers crossed.

loving the photo that’s a neat job you done there, I would have used cable ties but rope was the only thing to hand. I had to unravel loads of separate strips which was a bit of a pain in the arse but shades of being back at scouts and a good lash up later it wasn’t too shabby cheers. In actual fact the girls hit hardest were close to done anyway should only need a couple of weeks I think.

Does duct tape really work?

Considering the change in climate,  I'm going to go for more autos and probably 3 semis .

I really liked the quality of the autos this year that finished in the hot weather , when it gets wet through fall upto harvest the quality degrades imo , wish I lived in Spain tbf
