Popular Post GSZZ Posted June 16, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted June 16, 2021 (edited) Blueskiesvienna The team at UK420 have decided its time to publicly denounce Blueskiesvienna after his little public explosion today where he claimed OT1 and all the mods at UK420 were liars, and post the facts once and for all so there can't and won't be any confusion going forward. Any threads with anything to do with BSV will be closed and hidden, he won't be getting any free advertisement or publicity here beyond this thread. For those of you who don't know, BSV arrived on the scene 2/3 years ago claiming to have found "Road Kill Skunk" in seeds that originate from our resident @oldtimer1 stock (more on this later), he was in touch with anyone and everyone (including myself and @Joolz) trying to sell the seeds, before eventually disappearing and then reappearing all branded up, herein lays the issue. BSV has Oldtimer1s name all over his branding, and all over his social media pages, *without* prior permission. He came to UK420 and started a thread and publicly spoke with OT1 (which we do have backed up) as well as in private and was told both times that OT1 didn't approve of his name being used, nor did he want anything to do with it. In fact, BSV never actually asked for permission from OT1 but was told that OT1 was retired, and didn't want anything to do with it. BSV completely disregarded OT1s wishes, used his name on his branding and used his name and posts OT1 has made to sell his seeds, even going as far as going over OT1s head and getting in touch with old friends like Mr Soul and pretending to be speaking on behalf of OT1, all in a vain attempt to validate the story BSV made up from posts OT1 had made, get himself on podcasts and ultimately sell more seeds. Heres why this is all so stupid - BSV posted here that he used ESB x Haze (which was actually ES x HD that ex mod Bish found in OT1 flower and made crosses with and handed out) and Lot5evo. He S1 the "ESB x Haze" and F2d the lot5evo - since then he claims he has used Smile and Oldtimes also, but this is untrue. So more than half of his original stock, isn't even direct OT1 work, its hermie seed from OT1 flower that someone else made crosses with before they ended up in BSVs hands and a hack. He claims that he's worked the lines back to their ancestral parentage, Original Haze and Original Skunk, and used quotes from Ot1 regarding Haze and Skunk made here and on the cannabase, and their origins, to sell the seeds he is pumping, however: On 6/14/2021 at 7:03 PM, oldtimer1 said: No one could go back down the generations and find the whole original haze genome or original skunk lines as I had not used them its all the fiction and fantasies of a totally delusional lunatic. Ot1 didn't even use those lines in the verities that were made available to us, what was skunk and haze back then isn't what we think of as haze and skunk today - OT1 is very clear, that the words he used were loose in their categorizations and were for the benefit of those who went on to grow them . Its also apparent from the way that BSV sells his seeds and has spoken about them, these are not worked lines but simply poor reproductions. I can't say what can be found in his packs, but considering everything we know about where they came from, its not Road Kill Skunk BSV has took an old mans life work, and claimed it as his own. This is taking advantage of a retired grower to the extreme, OT1 has commited a huge chunk of his life to growing cannabis, breeding cannabis, and teaching others how to grow, Ot1s influence in cannabis especially here in the UK runs so deep that its the very foundations of how we treat cannabis in the UK, for BSV to take all of that hard work, claim it as his own, he must be suffering terribly from cognitive dissonance issues as he even claims that OT1 and everyone else is now trying to change history to suit their narrative... sound familiar? He said the same thing about Sam the Skunkman, Kevin Jodrey, Bodhi, and anyone else who has spoken up with the truth or is trying to sell "road kill" skunk seeds. Its all marketing. Theres far more to the BSV story, but honoring Oldtimer1s lifes work and legacy is all we're concerned about here. Without OT1 we wouldn't have a UK420, many of us would have never gotten our foot in the door, and many of us would never have known what real cannabis was like if it wasn't for him. As aforementioned, BSV had a public explosion today on social media directly attacking oldtimer1, all the UK420 mods with Owd & VRG/UGORG mentioned by name because he was asked to stop using OT1s name, and insinuated that Oldtimer1 was older than he is and had lost his marbles (but happy to use his name and legacy to further his own agenda £££). He can claim we're all remembering history wrong, but in this case the collective beats the individual and his previous comments here are the rope he has hung himself with in this instance. It questions his integrity enough that it begs to question what else is he lying about? Do not support BSV, do not support his lies. He's a stain on the community, profit driven and full of shit. The worst kind of person. Hopefully this thread gets the attention it deserves. Unfortunate when things have to go to these extremes but he just dug his heels in and doubled down on his bullshit, rather than admit he'd got things wrong and set the record straight.
