It's nice to have you following along @Fragg

Hopefully I'll have the hang of light heights and power settings for the competition grow :)

Any idea what  you are gonna be growing?

There is going to be a lot of plants coming along here, I'm going to keeping a close eye as I'm yet to run anything from Sweet Seeds.

Good luck with the new set up, I can't wait to see what I can upgrade to!!

@Shumroom. I'll be following along for the ride. Great selection and set up. I am also running the SAD for the comp. Are you planning on topping them or grow as is?

@Larry Badgeley I do usually top my plants for multiple colas,

and from reading other's LED diaries,

that's probably the best way to utilise these new lights.

Although now you've got me thinking... maybe let the Red Hot Cookies® grow naturally :g:

@Arthur Mix good to hear that,

I've not seen/tried Sweet Tai,

I used to love a bit of Thai stick :D

@InMyPocket I believe that variety is the spice of life,

I've run a few of their strains already,

my favourite so far is Cream Caramel(I do like a good Indica).

Thanks @Sweet Seeds -Jaypp sorry I didn't reply to you already,

thanks for the welcome and I'm sure this will be great fun.

@57north cheers mate,

best of luck with your Tropicanna Poison fv,

I hope you get some awesome colours.

See you all later

@Shumroom it sounds like you have a great setup and you've picked a great selection to put in it - a good variety of flavours and effects. I am looking forward to seeing these grow - best of luck with it! :yep:

2 seperate rooms and multi strain - I like your style! ;)

Hope you find a nice sweet tai pheno.  I have tried in the past and didn't get very lucky.  The other strains are somewhat of safe bet.

Good luck to you! :yep:

Thanks for dropping in @delagdo and @AustrianToker

I've just gotta get my head around this underfloor heating kit and get the AC INFINITY fans wired up to the enviro controller(with help from Adam Diyleduk),

hang the light and then I've got a test grow to run before this competition grow,

I know I'm cutting it fine for time as I had hoped to have all the necessary upgrades completed by now

Here's a couple of photos of the new tent setup(bloom-room #2)

It's great to hear so many people with positive reports on the strain choices I went with :D

Looking nice @Shumroom looking forward to seeing how you get on with this - make sure those LEDs are hung paralell though or you'll end up with uneven lighting and a pyramid style canopy!

Thanks for your kind words  @McHazy, @ratdog and @GSZZ it's been a long time coming :)

I wouldn't be able to attempt running two rooms if it wasn't for LEDs and EC fans.

Thanks for the advice about the lights @GSZZ,

I'll be using the dimmers as well as adjusting the ratchets to try to light them as evenly as possible(doubt i'll need the full 715W available in bloom-room #2) :D

I'll be laying: ProWarm™ 10mm XPS Premium Insulation Board (1200mm x 600mm),

On top of a thick pvc sheet.

The kit is: Electric Underfloor Heating kit 150w - 2.0m2 - White Touch Thermostat(300w total).

both purchased from a company called Nass Boards(through the river).

If all goes well with wiring it up then I'll level it off with kiln dried sand and stick some laminate down and another layer of thick pvc sheeting to catch any excess water.

Otherwise it'll just be heat mats on top of the laminate and an Inkbird temp controller(backup plan),

but hopefully I'll manage the kit ok :v:

Thanks again and Atb with your grows,

and the competition.

The boards in bloom-room #2 do look great and currently are performing very well if I do say so myself,

I can't wait to get the Lumatek Zeus Pro up in bloom-room #1 :D

With the selection I'll have with this lot,

if the tai doesn't taste great it'll probably end up in the extraction pile,

though i'd love to have a go at making Thai sticks(unlikely to happen).

I keep all my high quality trim and any popcorn buds separate and occasionally an entire plant,

and lovingly make Cannabutter and ISO with it.

Often I find this to be the best way to use Cannabis as a medicine rather than just smoking the buds alone,

I'm trying to get into vaping but I just love having a joint on the go,

for me nothing beats a Kingsize skin with a nice thin coating of ISO,

then continue roll the joint as normal.

Finally a joint which I don't have to roll another right after stubbing it out

peace and love:hippy:
