Shumroom Posted October 17, 2020 Share Posted October 17, 2020 7th Sweet Seeds® Grow Diary Competition Just reserving a place for when the time comes to get involved in my first Sweet Seeds® Grow Diary Competition. I initially purchased And included along with my order So I initially thought that I was gonna go with this line-up Sweet Zkittlez®, Sweet Tai®, Red Hot Cookies® and Big Foot® Then after reading what some others here on UK420 were growing for the competition, reminded me of a couple of other strains I'd been interested in for ages. So back on to Sweet Seeds website to place another order. This time I've bought Mohan Ram® and Sweet Afghani Delicious S1® as I do like a high Indica content to help with the pain management and getting a decent sleep Next update will probably be my a photo of the additional seeds and my equipment list and germination plans(once I figure it out). I said on my diary I have never grown Sweet seeds genetic but Ive remembered, I’d grown 4 of the S.A.D plants some years ago (will need to update). Mohan Ram. Sweet Afghani Delicious s1. Sweet Tai. Big Foot and Sweet Zkittlez. Oh and and with this order I got a free pen/tablet thingamajig, thanks Sweet Seeds Sweet I'm looking forward to getting these going, even although it's gonna be a while before I begin. Still trying to decide upon coco or compost for this grow, although I will be growing in 2 separate areas so I may even use coco in one room and compost in the other In bloom-room #1, which is approximately 1.2m x 1.6m x 2.4m high. As far as lighting is concerned I will be using the Lumatek Zeus 600W Pro. Extraction and intake fans are AC INFINITY CLOUDLINE T8 and T6 respectively, they will be controlled by a GAS enviro 2, which can also control my GAS humidifier, heater and light on/off times, so hopefully the environment in here should be favourable I'm also going to install an underfloor heating kit in this room shortly, to try to keep as close to ideal temp root zone as I can In bloom-room #2(Secret Jardin dr150w) 1.5m x 90cm x 2m, which I have just about got setup for its maiden run to work out any snags before these lot. Lighting is a Par+ 275 and 2x Highlight 220's. There's a pair of AC INFINITY CLOUDLINE T6's one for extraction and the other for intake, to be controlled by a GAS EC5 speed/temp controller. Heat mats with Inkbird heat controller will take care of keeping roots warm in here, and there's a HumiPro 4l humidifier. Both areas have their own CarboAir 60 filter to take care of any unwanted odours. I have just started to use @Intense Nutrients in my other grow, and others here are using them with positive results, so that's what will be used for the competition. Shumroom Posted October 21, 2020 Author Share Posted October 21, 2020 Cheers mate I'm just about to get it hung up and get it running for the first time very shortly, it's taken me longer than I'd hoped to do everything(I've been upgrading to EC type fans which are much quieter for the amount of air they move and are more efficient and controllable), the fans are quiet enough for me to add the Secret Jardin tent to my set-up. Every step forward is a step in the right direction, keeping those jars full I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Zeus performs compared to the HPS/CDM 915W's combined that I had used for years The main advantage should be even canopy coverage.
