Good Luck Kipper

Be careful with the odour from the cheese autos....they stink.

We grew them outdoors a while back and we could smell them 50 feet from the plot...

  • 3 weeks later...

Waiting on delivery today of a 150w led ufo style lamp. To suppliment daylight while my girls are still tiny.

My idea is to reduce stretch in the seedling stage.

Not sure image links are ok but I'll try

Full-Spectrum-UFO-150W-LED-Grow-Light-Hy

Just wondering if anyone has used this sort of thing and how far should it be from the canopy please.

Note the led will be used in daylight hours only. No intention of making a box unless otherwise advised.

Just hang it over the seed tray in broad daylight.

where possible (temps provided) they will go in the greenhouse to maximise daylight (no need for led in the greenhouse)

Am I thinking straight.

Soaked then put in paper towel on 21st March.

Both cheese xxl autos sprouted no problems.

Nice growth too.

The Fruit Auto Too 3 beans to get one that sprouted and its lagging despite it being a late starter (3-4 days after the cheese xxl's)

Anyway heres my girls.

:smokin: Sure can bubble. Yes it measure soil temps. That's all I monitor. The girls are in a window sill all day and night.

West facing.

Lowest soil temp aroud 14-15 so far.

Weather permitting they go in the greenhouse, even if its only for a couple of hours. Just to try and stop them stretching.

They have had the pots topped up already.

Will you be doing a repot into bigger pots mate or are you going direct into the ground when the weather plays ball?

You can bury those lanky stems when you do the next pot up. As these are autos I would only do 1 more repot as autoflowering strains are best grown from the start in the finish pot to avoid any transplant shock, slow growth and slow production down ;)

Worth keeping in mind my friend  :bong:

Single pot up probably to 6_7ltrs.

I'd use a bigger pot than that, 10+l. The ones I use are 15l buckets with holes drilled in the bottom :yep:

So I'll be safe with my 14 liter fabric pot then ?

Yes, they'll be ideal. Just be careful not to over water. Unless we have really hot weather, you shouldn't need to water them for 2 weeks+ if they were wetted properly to start off with :yep:
