I've seen the damage they do and it's a ball ache. Caterpillars too. I love having butterflies around but hate the caterpillars later on. We tried everything back in the day....to keep the baaastads away ha ha I even sat there in the back garden experimenting with slugs... if you are not doing too many plants, then the electric copper tape thing is unpassable, we have also found, that doing towers helps, and doing towers with no plastic bag liner, is even better, the loose soil sticks out the holes in the tree guard, and slugs just fall off ha ha 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
