B0bbyBuds
Better than mechanical practice is knowledge; better than knowledge is meditation. Better than meditation is renunciation of the fruits of actions, for peace immediately follows such renunciation. Bhagavad Gita 12.12.
bushdoc
“My thought is me: that's why I can't stop. I exist because I think… and I can't stop myself from thinking. At this very moment - it's frightful - if I exist, it is because I am horrified at existing. I am the one who pulls myself from the nothingness to which I aspire.” Jean-Paul Satre
bushdoc
“It was a movie about American bombers in World War II and the gallant men who flew them. Seen backwards by Billy, the story went like this: American planes, full of holes and wounded men and corpses took off backwards from an airfield in England. Over France, a few German fighter planes flew at them backwards, sucked bullets and shell fragments from some of the planes and crewmen. They did the same for wrecked American bombers on the ground, and those planes flew up backwards to join the formation. The formation flew backwards over a German city that was in flames. The bombers opened their bomb bay doors, exerted a miraculous magnetism which shrunk the fires, gathered them into cylindrical steel containers , and lifted the containers into the bellies of the planes. The containers were stored neatly in racks. The Germans below had miraculous devices of their own, which were long steel tubes. They used them to suck more fragments from the crewmen and planes. But there were still a few wounded Americans though and some of the bombers were in bad repair. Over France though, German fighters came up again, made everything and everybody as good as new. When the bombers got back to their base, the steel cylinders were taken from the racks and shipped back to the United States of America, where factories were operating night and day, dismantling the cylinders, separating the dangerous contents into minerals. Touchingly, it was mainly women who did this work. The minerals were then shipped to specialists in remote areas. It was their business to put them into the ground, to hide them cleverly, so they would never hurt anybody ever again.” Kurt Vonnegut

Dodgee
It's been awhile since I posted in here and unfortunately that's been largely coz I haven't been feeling that positive or energetic these past months. Truth be told I don't think anyone has been feeling great. What with one disaster after another. Pandemics/lockdowns/war it's not exactly conducive to happiness issit. But I'm fed up of being in a downer, and need to regain some focus, get the momentum heading in the right direction for a change. So I'm gonna start at page one. Work my through, and hopefully by the end I'll be ready to start adding some fresh material, some good vibes and a general air of positive mental energy. I really think we could ALL use it right now! Mush love and very best regards The dodgee one
vince noir rock n roll star
to be honest @Dodgee we all should have done this sort of shadow work over the last 2 years whilst we were given oppurtunities to be at rest in ways we couldnt have comprehended ,if you have not been through some form of turmoil and realisations during this period of history ..what were you doing ? i spent time speaking to many hundreds of people ..and soon came to realise that everyone was having something revealed to them in their own lives that had to be dealt with ,which lead to many many couples divorcing or splitting up as they came to see that they had nothing in common with their significant others ..to say this was forced upon us would i think be the correct assumption . those who took the time to look inwards discovered a few things about themselves that ultimately would have changed their personas .some would have come to the conclusion that this isnt how life is sposed to be and thought of ways they could affect others and bring about change .. they didnt call it ascension for nothing ..levelling up as a species or as a singular life form .thats for us to decide over the coming years .. as some folk will be aware ,there have been people to help guide you through this quagmire of confusion and they are still there if one was to seek them out ..im not talking gurus or messianic figures ,im talking about those who give love unconditionally to their fellow human ,and will be prepared to walk beside you when life seems at its lowest .. take care chap ..and remember what we think we create ..dont waste time on negative thoughts as they will only provide you with more ..remember the inner child must have time to come out to play ..and the best currency one can have is kindness . btw i only popped in to give your daily like ..but hey ho in for a penny in for a pound ,,lets make the future ours .
