rememberingnever
Late to the party after being early initially with all kinds of plans :'). Just splurged out on some samsung f series and bridgelux eb's and i'm impressed so far when i've powered via a bench PSU. Now I just need some alu angle, wire, pots and to pick the drivers up to get cracking!

rememberingnever
Anyone have any ideas on a coating to water proof the strips? Worried about condensation when the strips power down. Tight cutting area is using a couple of 1 ft bridgelux strips and they work beautifully but one suffered when it was near to the propogator lid at one point :D. Get your Inkbird to bring the temps up at lights out, better yet, 15 mins before. Should keep any moisture from accumulating
MindSoup
I ran completely exposed Chinese cobs for ages with all kinds of temperature swings and I never had any issues. Probably don't want to be spraying water directly onto them but other than that they should be fine.
