Crentz Posted October 21, 2018 Author Share Posted October 21, 2018 What’s up it’s been a while This grow has had it’s problems mainly down to me, I tried to cheat and flip the plants early to sex them then took clones from the revegging females. The clones took so long to root and I lost a lot of them, anyway we have two Platinum Yeti’s and two Sour 76 in the dwc system now well rooted so we can finally get this show on the road There’s a few changes to the setup this run, I’ll be using Biogreen Nutrients, lights will be a Migro 400 led, and I’ll be showing a serious bit of tech the Opengrow GroLab Controller for controlling environment as well as auto dosing ph and eventually nutrients The plants are still throwing out some weird growth from the reveg but it’s slowly returning to normal. Back two are Platinum Yeti and front two are Sour 76 with a little platinum yeti in soil in the middle. Platinum Yeti Platinum Yeti Sour 76 Sour 76 Overview Migro 400 Opengrow GroLab kit + Tankbot & 12v dosing pump & EC probe. Opengrow controller setup on the wall. Crentz Posted November 13, 2018 Author Share Posted November 13, 2018 Sorry for the lack of updates @HSO-Mark Things are looking a little different since the last update, I had some trouble running the new Biogreen nutrients and had to switch back to General Hydroponics Flora series After a lot of setbacks tomorrow will officially be the first day of 12/12 All four plants were grown in 20 litre dwc buckets and two days ago they were switched into the new 75 litre rdwc system by Growrilla Hydroponics, I’m using a 60lpm air pump also The small runt caught up a little bit. Looks perfect for a 1.2m area that I'm planning I was going to build one but for the price it's not worth it. How are you finding the new system buddy? Good to see the show is on the road now and your plants look great Some interesting and nice looking kit you've got there and I see you ended up going for it with the migros after your first run. I remember you were well impressed with your single one. I used to use the genefinder method for sexing regs and IIRC I used to flip when they had 3 or 4 nodes. 3 or 4 days 12/12 and back to 18/6. They'd show sex in about a week after going back to 18/6 without going into flower and having to re veg. So it was about a 10 day job on top of 3 or 4 weeks initial veg. Not much quicker really if it's a strain that shows in 6 weeks naturally, as a lot do. So I fucked it off and just wait now. It works though. Crentz Posted November 26, 2018 Author Share Posted November 26, 2018 Little mini update more to follow Pic below taken yesterday on day 11 of 12/12, I’m going to get in and defoliate probably on Wednesday and tidy this jungle up These were moved into the new 75 litre RDWC system by Growrillahydroponics two weeks ago and just exploded with growth I will get some more pics up in the next few days. @jadenugs What’s happening mate how you keeping This one has definitely been a learning curve to put it lightly, first time running regular seeds too which added to it. Yeah ended up going all in on the Migro lights and I’m glad I did, not one negative thing to say about them With the whole sexing thing I’ll take cuts next time, I was trying to cut corners this run and it didn’t pay off. @HSO-Mark Thanks mate, They are really going for it now, I’m hoping the stretch is coming to an end soon as I have the lights as high as they will go I’ll get some more detailed pics once I defoliate, the back left platinum yeti has a huge stem like a tree trunk. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
