Hurrah! Hurrah! We chose the Mazar.

  • 2 weeks later...

After the sun came the winds and rains.

We watched from our armchairs for days as the weather turned nasty and windy enough to bend the surrounding neighbourhood vegetation.

'How do you think they are doing?' my husband and I kept asking one another.

'What if they have been decked in the winds?' the turn of weather was the first time our girls would have experienced any sort of wind.

'How are they coping with the fall of temperature?' they have never seen single digit nights...

Yesterdays' weather was finally enough to convince us to take another trip to the plot...

All round the heat was beginning to sap up all the fallen rain with only a few puddles left and plenty of wild flowers going psychedelic crazy in the Sun Light, beautiful weather for surrounding nature, but what about the girls?

Ten minutes later we are standing in front of them once again, hopefully for the ultimate or penultimate time before we begin to crop, and they looked amazing!!! Only one or two had decked, but were already trying to stand themselves up, the rest had no issues at all.

Hopefully three weeks till the chop now we reckon.  Take a look.!!

Nice! That bud looks scary and with all of those white hairs I bet it will still fill in quite a bit before harvest. Crossing fingers that you get a mold free harvest. Trimming seems like it would be an easy job - except for the sheer amount of bud to trim!

After an absolutely lovely weekend of rain come shine, come warm days and cold at nights we knew we had to go in to see our girls.

The camouflage is going fast but it was still dense enough to cover our tracks, fortunate for us as we could smell them from very far away now.

In we went and found our girls still safe with a couple ready for the chop so tomorrow is the big day for us.

There seemed to be a couple of phenos in this lot, some pink and sweet smelling, about 5 foot, others tall and wispy, with twirling light flowers. Then there is the occasional christmas tree, 7 foot high, and the small little ones that look like buds on a stalk but that are ready seemingly first of the lot.

We will report back on yields and buds as well as resin content when we have the buds down.

Take a look and expect the video hopefully soon!!

In the meantime we would like to thank Real Gorilla Seeds for these lovely spot on genetics.  Thanks @panik @Ch@ppers its been really lovely growing these girls!!
