Subbies pic thread

Thought I'd share the progress of my Strawberry Amnesia X Double Durban subbies and my own WWXBB X Chemdawg hacks.

Just for ease of use, I refer to my subbies as SADD and my hags as Big Dawg.

The SADDs are my first sativa grow in a few  decades, but i remember. As such, I topped these two at 4 nodes. The Big Dawgs were considerably shorter at flip and are the first plants I have not topped in even longer. I am running a SOG with 13 plants, being loathe to cull one to even up the canopy with a 3 x 4 arrangement. As such, I figured it best to leave the majority untopped and it looks like I timed the flip perfectly; the big dawgs are around the same height as the sadds with one of the dawgs just stretching a bit taller than the rest, and boy did these two stretch!

I flipped on 12 April and the sadds were flowering within a few days, but the dawgs waited until around 10 days and you can see the difference in the flowers.

little teaser of @Vicfirth12's Silver Ak X SAGE

Solid nugs which after only a week of drying taste melon/grapey, but have so much more depth than just sweet flavour with lots of subtle undertones of.....not quite sure yet but ill be back!!

I'm not the best to describe smells but it's got a bit of fruit gas to it. It's not a smell I've come across before. I'd like to know a bit more about the granola funk. I think I remember you saying it was dominant in the cross, which I found to be true,  all the plants smell similar with variations of louder or fruity. All similar structure, although the one in the pic I think had the best structure & bud formation. Got some f2s almost finished. But I'm going to use the 2 faster finishing & frostier females next time with the same male. See how that goes.
