JAPE

Recommended Posts

They look lovely Jape ..dont know about them being hungry ..i see that your upper fan leaves are curling up at sides ..think that is heat or light stress ?..

Autos go very yellow coming to the end and it could be hunger as the leaves are yellowing from the bottom up

They look amazing though :)

jape soz mate, aint chimed in for a bit............. some auto's, with sativa leaning leaves, aint that keen on the higher alkalinity that is present in cocco mediums....... the most common def is, Phos PO4 def, as medium Ph can move above ph 7 causing the phos def in lower fans. All the upper fans look good, so she is past the worst i expect... they load up late, due good framework building. leading to good collection of flowers... av a look at phos below fadesout above ph 7.......

My best recommendation would be to use the gold label special mix, or allmix light, or allmix standard. Can rely on a stable ph in medium from start to finish, even if you do hit it hard with acidic nutes.    Automaster

Day 66

Temps 27-28 on 22-23 off but been running lights 24 hours to keep roots warm constantly.

Humidity 25-35%

Nutes a&b e.c 0.9 ph 6.3...4 litres every 2 days.

About 6 are gunna be ready in roughly a weeks time but I'm in a bit of a pickle cos I have nowhere to dry them, I can only use the room I'm growing in and the temps will be way to hot. Reckon another 6 will be ready at roughly 90-100 days and the rest at about 80 days so god knows what I'm gunna do.

jape mate looks like the prescription is working. The ultra thin fans are of sativa doms. Which tend to take abit longer, but are usually heavier.  get yourself some A4 brown bags, and put a cup full of trimmed buds in each. triple fold the tops down, and place them at a height (To Dry) that has a temp of around 21-23c......... may be the floor temp ??......... as they finish the flush 7-10 days plain water Ph 6.3. harvest bag and hang em at 21-23c.

Once bagged, take the room RH. For every 10% RH, dry for one day 24hrs. So RH is 35. = 3,5 days, "Plus One day"........ put a slim hygrometer in a wide topped Kilner screw top jar. Wait 3hrs, see if jar RH is around 60-65. if it is, pop in a 62% "Boveda" RH regulater pack, dont pack the kilner to tight, loose pack and add in 62% RH control Boveda pack.

As you is on auto light pattern, you can start the replacements, while the late ones finish the full load up Japes. Auto's allow this flexibility, as 18/6 from start to finish means you can have auto's all at different stages, giving staggered harvest. Trim the dames in the room, in a corner, with a little stool or seat, weight the wet total per dame, then take of 72% of the wet weight to give an idea of the dry outcome bro......., when the fan leaves pull back the mobile nutrients near end of flush........ you know there ripe etc....... These where hung at 26c RH 38. was dry at 60%RH in 4 days, then jarred up for the "Decarboxylation" cure, 20 days to full power.

Got just over 4 ounces a plant each off them, had a long cure now and well the smoke is meh! Not very smelly and taste is citrusy but not strong. Really good yielders but not my cuppa tea. Will have another go at autos again maybes in the winter for a quick return. Growing og kush and #1 now so hoping for a good strong smelly harvest this time. Thanks for everyone who popped in and hope this diary was useful to anyone.

@Cainedbutable both not that smelly I was quite disappointed, frostyNess didn't kick in till the last few weeks either. Really good yielders but not the best in quality all though this could be down to my growing skills.

An interesting diary for sure.

The only thing mate, in one of your pics there is a fosters tin of beer used for a reference. I have not seen one of them in decades as they don't drink that swamp water over here.Hahaha

cheers
