I just said to my girlfriend "look at the quality of this porn" she laughed, had a look and agreed lol they look fantastic, almost there now. all the best :)

Porn for people with weed fetish. :D  I agree, not too long to go now.  But thinking of leaving #1 and #2 past the 9 week mark.  #3 will be ready in a few days, but if i were desperate i could chop her now at 8 weeks.

damn toker ..thos became resinous quick ..bloomin lovely and girthy too

Thanks, Vince.  Calyx are now starting to stack.  I reckon they will continue to swell for another 7-10 days, depending on how long i decide to wait for chop.  At the beginning of flowering, didn't think they would be that good yielders, but now!

@AustrianTokker Been browsing the Sweet Seeds grow already, they look great, memories of old skunk no.1 come to when when i see the light colours, structure and trichomes. Decided to soak the seeds last night, they sunk by midday today so have them in jiffy pellets right now. going with the 3x CC and 3 pineapple express i got free.

Compost: Organic vegetable compost

Very nice grow mate and you'll enjoy the results I'm sure.

When you say, 'organic vegetable compost' are you talking about Vermicompost?

I just ask as I've started producing it myself and I read somewhere that some of the big organic growers use nothing but Vermicompost.

Congrats on the win !

DAY 56 of flowering! 8th and final week. :guitar:

All good here, as the girls have now reached their final week.  Actually, i might leave 2 of them for another 10 days.  But that's just because i won't have the time to chop next weekend, but during the following week.  I've got a friend that helps me out.  Like that, we will only have to work for a couple of hours instead of all day snippin leaves alone - i don't only have crystal candy to chop down. :naughty:

The feed is now set at 2ml/L Grow and 2ml/L of bloom.  No more topmax and soon no more feed in general - just plain tap water at room temperature. :yep:

Crystal Candy 1 has become already quite pale. I might have reduced the feed a little too soon for her. She is still throwing out a few white pistils and staking those calyxes. :)  I will take her past the 9 week mark.

Crystal Candy 2 the chunky one.  Also quite a few white pistils left and the other candidate for an extended stay under the sun.

Crystal Candy 3 - Plain tap water for her next two feeds and then down she goes.  Maybe 5 days left in the tent for her. :)

@AustrianTokker  I have gone for Flashback 2, Wild Rose and Fenando Lemon Kush.. Very nice people sweet seeds giving free seeds to enter comps...:oldtoker:

Nice one.  Flashback hasn't been grown a lot on here and neither has wild rose.   You might find some reports in the earlier comps.  Good idea getting those strains as they are discontinued.   I might add the flashback 2 to my selection as well.  ;)

You are right, the structure is really similar to skunk.  But CC seems to be a tad sweeter in smell.  I wouldn't be surprised if it had skunk in the genetic make up, but I'm sure Sweet seeds isn't going to reveal that for another few years.  Good luck with your grow btw - I'm pretty sure you won't get disapointed. ;)

Hi Peregrine.  I've been buying regular compost bags from a friend's garden center - simple organic compost for vegetable growing.  They are austrian made and aren't available in the UK - i couldn't even find them online after doing search.  No perlite and such, But very good compost nevertheless.   I use it with all my cuttings, seedlings, and pot up the big plants without a single issue - comparable to any organic compost i've had from Canna, biobizz or plagron.  I've thought about reusing compost, with the worm farm and all.  But my flat isn't that big and hard enough not to make a mess as it is.  Once i have a house and more place to work with...  a garden and that sort of thing...  :)

@AustrianTokker enjoy your harvest mate very impressive bud you have there! Congrats on the monthly prize too, have you chosen what you want from Sweet Seeds shop yet? :)

ATB man :oldtoker:

Thanks, Fragg.  Not quite sure what to get yet.  The secret box does look nice. :) I've been using isolator bags in the past.  But making hash with a tumbler does seem nice as well.  Just need to save lower buds from two grows to make it worthwile i think.
