Lost a few buds to rot but hardly anything compared to what's on the plant.

Left loads to ripen and will chop next week

A glorious day for trimming  today, perfect weather  large.IMG_5757.jpeg

Red Mandarin from Sweets was a pleasure this year. Super heavy colourful buds with a sweet Citrus smell and a very good yield  Rot resistance was high which was surprising as the structure is very Cabbage..y  Quite slow to trim but very good resin. I managed to roll a nice Hash worm off the Scissors to smoke while I snipped.
I’d deffo fly these again from a growing perspective and see if I can push them just a little further next time.

(The Weather won’t allow this year )

Lets Hope it smokes as well as it smells :hippy:

Lovelocks

About 15% average losses to rot.  But nice smelling, resinous flower.  Think they would really shine in a better season / lower lats.

Stand out of the season though, is a side project which has turned out well, beautifully structured, large framed plants with Cali-esque buds, which are easy to quickly break down by hand for a scissorless harvest.

For now I’m calling these “Slim’s secret”…

Only downsides are quite a subtle smell, and an unusually high frequency of ‘males’ in the feminised seed (genetically female plants with a male phenotype) , both things I’m confident I can eliminate over winter.  < 5% mold, which remains localised & is easy to spot, meaning it doesn’t slow things down.
