Anyone done a "plant and leave" (Plant out and only come back at harvest time)?

Yeah same here. I would not do it with any strains that have GG, nighty mite or royal dane in them.  I find using un adulterated photoperiod plants like freshen dew works best. Also fem seeds are a must. I've did it with Fresian dew for years. Due to the ridiculous price  of seeds these days I'd use clones. That way they all finish the same week.

I don't know if you have any cornfields near you but that has been my best option for plant and leave I still make a couple visits because I want to see how they are doing but not necessary these have been in the ground for two weeks @childofmelee

The cornfields near me are too small to dare grow any plants there.  I'm growing in heavy gorse land, not looking forward to clearing the plots for this upcoming season here in the southern hemisphere.
