Afternoon all,

Here we are 10 days later...Very pleased with these, all pretty much the same size now and filling out nicely,

around another week 18/6 and they'll go on to 12/12.

Here's a couple of autos for my growbud's garden currently on the edge of the table, they'll be out in a week.

Update...

These are throwing up 3 finger leaves which is a sure indication of re-vegging, I'll wait for some 5 finger+ before 12/12

estimate about another week or two.

Afternoon all,

A week later and these really have kicked on, still throwing the odd 3 finger but they went 12/12 yesterday.

Little taste of root porn for ya...

large.SSCN2170.JPG

I've moved the couple of autos into the growfridge on 18/6 and the tiny one is a Glookie Bomb, probably the smallest seed I've ever seen.

Hopefully she produce cuttings for the next grow...:yep:

Afternoon all,

Five days on and these are still transitioning between veg and flower. I expected them to change at the same rate being clones but not so...

large.SSCN2181.JPG

All happy and healthy with good root systems but the one nearest and centre is furthest along...

large.SSCN2184.JPG

Then comes the ugly duckling right behind it in the middle of the table...

large.SSCN2183.JPG

...with it's single finger leaves...

large.SSCN2182.JPG

All treated exactly the same and the rest are somewhere between the two...

Should get interesting very soon

'til next time

Fingers crossed they sort themselves out for you, I do hate those weird leaves.

I just took some cuts off some Remo Chemo that are in flower, they're about 10 days in which is about as late as I like to take them really, I bet they go all weird :kwasny:

  • 2 weeks later...

Afternoon all,

Getting hot here in the south...two weeks into 12/12 and the plants are loving it...these are under the scope 550w

from Adam turned down to about 400w.

large.SSCN2195.JPGlarge.SSCN2196.JPGlarge.SSCN2194.JPG

Strange how they're all growing at different rates, two the same, then another three and finally the four smallest.

The one nearest and centre is a beast, as is the one behind it against the wall, the ugly duckling between them has stayed tiny

and pretty much been swamped, once the stretch is over there'll be an overall haircut and under trim, the duck might not survive.

'til next time

Afternoon all,

The itchy scissor fingers could wait no longer, these lot got well and truly barbered/butchered today...

large.SSCN2205.JPGlarge.SSCN2206.JPG

I've never seen a plant with such tight internodes, absolute jungle under there, must have removed 50% of the foliage and smaller stems.

Buds are just starting to show so I won't be trimming anymore....

Let the fun and fireworks begin....

'til next time

Just thought I'd sling this in here...

My trusty 30+ years old EC truncheon finally gave up the ghost this morning but I'm a great believer in 'make do and mend'...so...

I discovered that it has a very thin wire running up the inside which had broken too far down to reach for repair...so...

Chopped the end off giving me access to the wire, drop of solder and tape over the end to hold the batteries in...

...good as new...(saved a few quid too)

Not too dissimilar from what I have to do to get my truncheon operational these days. Just minus the chop the end off part lol

@mikeydoughnut

I knew that chopping meant no going back so it was a leap of faith (or idiocy...)

The thing was fucked anyway so I really had nothing to lose, chuffed I've got it working though...:yep:

Good on yer @stu914 though. When I first decided to have a go at coco the £80 truncheon was in the basket for a good while before finally going for it. It’s not summat easily replaced.

The cheapo EC meters on ebay/amazon etc. seem to be pretty accurate and reliable to me, I got one for £3.95 delivered that reads correctly and has lasted a few years now so I don't think you need to spend a load of money on a truncheon any more.

@latigid aikon

It's a case of 'better the devil you know'...that truncheon has never let me down or given an inaccurate reading in all those years.

Saving the money is a welcome by-product and you know what they say "buy cheap, buy twice"...:yep:
