Whats your rationale behind this?

 

 

Can confirm that all Thames water analysis' I've seen have virtually no Mg and very high on Ca.

 

I use epsom salts dissolved in hot water myself. 1g of Epsom salt per 10L of water = 9.86 mg/L. Takes me 3.4g/10L to correct my water and I reckon that would work for others on Thames water as well

@BushDoctoRompletely agree, although my statement should read 5ml Mono mg per 10L or .5ml/l. The epsom way is far cheaper, nice to see it calculated for epsom salts. 

 

And all those years I added cal/mag.. lol Not even sure if the OP is a london grower.. :yep:

@BushDoctoR Just to back up your statment, im Thames water, had it tested by Growers ark and they came back with Calcium 96ppm and Magnesium only 2ppm! thev recommended adding 0.15g/l of epsom salts in addition to the extra traces,
