I grew them before from rgsc so yh 2 times as im pushed for places id try more but yh years down the line i will no doubt. Interesting my initial thoughts is id have to elevate the water tub and find some hose that trickles slowly . Pepe Ramon Posted May 12, 2022 Share Posted May 12, 2022 A soaker hose would do it. I used an irrigation system last year, tbh, it was a pain in the arse and I have a tap to connect to. If your water pressure fluctuates, you don't get the same amount of water coming out the irrigation system. I had a main hose with drippers coming off it a different intervals, ending with the caps that you can screw up and down to alter the flow of water. I found I was constantly adjusting these as the water pressure changes, some would fly off if the pressure was too high. I got soaked loads of times trying to alter them, so I'm not using it this year. My plan this year, is to half bury some 1 litre plastic water bottles next to the stems and pour water into them, thus getting the water deeper into the soil to try and avoid it evaporating. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you find them close to your plot because seems like a lot of weight to be carried as well as your other bits. Tbf im not going hard any more the plots i have now will be used until there found or im busted or quit. Ive found out my spines knackered and ive a few health conditions which i finnaly been diagnosed . To look at yh i have wirked out lots and lots legs are huuuge and pretty athletic looking . But the price i now pay is im a 33 yo with a back of a 55yo and histus hernia and kyphosis and degen OA . No more lifting for me dunno how im gonna manage for water trips? B.
