blackpoolbouncer
@murphyblue not sure what you mean? The door can't open into the shed. It's sat in a frame if you will like a house door with battening the door sits against all the way round or do you mean adding a batten all the way round on the door itself? I seem to remember running a hps in there last year there wasn't any light leaks from the door. Tbh its not the end of the world if a bit of t5 light can be seen around the edge of the door anyway. While I'm here. Gave the flower room a second coat while having my lunchtime spliff......looks a lot less patchy now Edited February 28, 2022 by blackpoolbouncer

blackpoolbouncer
Ahh cheers mate. Had me confused then for a second. It's all good. The sheds nowhere near the house with no guests who aren't privy to my exploits going near it. My biggest concern is the hurricane under the shed and the noise that produces although I'm confident that once the shed is skirted it should be almost silent from the exterior. Looking forward to my little place of solitude and it being all out and away from the house. Whilst nearly everyone I know knows what I get up to and it doesn't need hiding, occasionally when the Mrs friends pop round it's hard work skirting past the spare room when your giving the tour or when her grandad asks whats in there? Can stop telling people it's my sex dungeon now Edited February 28, 2022 by blackpoolbouncer
Exhale
1 hour ago, blackpoolbouncer said: There's time for it to go tits up yet Maybe rename the thread "Great Shedspectations"? Can you run some duct under from the 200mm fan before you skirt the shed, should tame the whooooooooooosh from the exit?
blackpoolbouncer
@Exhalegreat minds think alike. There's 3 or 4 foot spare I'm gonna use to direct it across the shed hitting a duvet at the other end. This was how I vented out of ny caravan and you couldn't hear it being just feet away

blackpoolbouncer
Alright me muckers. How's the rabble this evening? Well things have progressed rather rapidly since last weekend. Today is day 1 in the shed. Found the pics of what it looked like a few weeks ago. what a shithole!Armpured cable wired in and back out to feed the polytunnel. A full 32 amp supply. Lovely jubblyplummed the active in tidy2 coats the charmNipped down the local hydro and managed to snag a 200x 660mm and 125 x 330 carboair for 160 quid. That's the exhaust and active filter intake/second tent exhaust sorted expandy foamed all the cracks got the veg light in Got the passive intake for the shed in too. This draws air from the polytunnel meaning the air soon warms up un the morningthis comes up directly under the 2 5kw oil rad to take the chill off it and heat the room generally the mums and cutting "propagator " fit nicely. The mums all had a number 1 hair cut last night in preparation for the big move todayCouple of staples to get it lined upthen battening all roundAnd we have light!Bit of an operation moving 70+ litre pots but wasn't too bad with a bit of thinking officially evicted! Sorry girls and boys Your new homes lovely I promiseBoom! And we're in! Temporary water butt. Will probs go mains fed blumats or have a res with a ball cock So yea. Been running a few hours now and it's getting close tonfreezing outside and the probe in the soil at the bottom of the pots reads 25'C which is what its set at so the underfloor heating and venting is working well. It will freeze tonight and be just about as cold as it gets here so tonight will be a test. The shed isn't skirted yet and the polytunnel isn't being heated so it will only improve. So there we are folks. The tent door idea has worked a treat and I'll most likely implement that form the smaller grow room too. Proper tidy job. Pretty chuffed to be honest. No doubt there will be a bit of fine adjustment but yea. Jobs a good un. Peace and one love all Edited March 5, 2022 by blackpoolbouncer

blackpoolbouncer
@MindSoup cheers bud. There's a load of cannabiogen destroyers, hyp3rid long island haze and some Ace C5 x Kali China. Theres two more pots to join them in that room. I'm not sure what I'm gonna run in those yet. Edited March 5, 2022 by blackpoolbouncer
Shaggy1
Top, top job mate! It's the stuff we all dream of really isn't it Some great ingenuity going on, it's definitely given me a few more ideas for when I can build a room. Will be interesting to see how tamed that c5 cross is, will you be documenting this grow? I got my 1st lot of ace gear just finishing up now and I'm pretty impressed Anyway, good stuff mate, take it easy
Openairbud
Great stuff mate love the linking to the polytunnel for some free heat, got me thinking that. How did you seal where the conduit enters your main flower room? And why have you added a filter to the intake? Did I miss it somewhere? or am I being dense? As above that shed is something out of my dreams shed envy in overdrive ha! Best of luck dude! Edit, it'll be interesting seeing all those crazy sats in there in flower! blackpoolbouncer
@Shaggy1 cheers mate. Yea I literally have zero idea what to expect. They are on 12 12 from seed from seed they could end up 2 foot tall or they could end up 6 foot tall. I'm not documenting this grow really but i might chuck some pics up. I've got far too much on this year so il likely be a bit quieter from time to time

The trays are an exact fit so it has nowhere to go but all the way to the end of the room to get out when the trays are down. See the tray at the end is left a couple inches off giving two 12 x 2" passive intakes. The active intake isn't sealed with anything as it enters the big room. It's a very snug fit anyway and it's no bother if I sucks a slither of air in. I could seal it with silicone bit it woukd be pointless an d just ankle mainatainance hard work. What does need to be sealed it under the small filter which is the exhaust for the small room/connected to the active intake. See the small room will mainly be for flowering males and that air is drawn intonthe main flower room. The filter is there for pollen more than anything tbh. Was the cheapest easiest solution.
