*DJ*
Ahh 'cropping' right, I'd say, mysel, taking cuttings from a 5 week bloomer might not be ideal, I think you should think more along the lines of some kind of reveg after you cropped, 2P in DJ.... 4 Link to comment
MindSoup
@Grow lady sounds good, I just did the same with a Mango. From what I gather you just treat them as you would a normal clone, the more hours light you give them the quicker they'll revert back. @RUFUS HOUND is doing a monster crop grow at the moment. 1 Link to comment
HazyDaze
Just take cuttings as you usually would, or if you haven't taken them before there's guides available in the sub forums. 3 Link to comment
MindSoup
@HazyDaze if I use this reveged cutting as a mother, will all the cuttings that come from her also grow monster/extra bushy? Link to comment
HazyDaze
No, youd have to continually monster crop each time for that. 2 Link to comment
MindSoup
Thats the answer I was hoping for, I'll probably take a cut from this and keep that as the mum, be a bit easier to keep it tidy. 1 Link to comment
HazyDaze
As dj mentioned, that will probably be a reveg jobbie rather than a "monster crop" Link to comment
ratdog
i had to google this i would love to see someone do this as it sounds like a right ball ache to me tbh Link to comment
Guest
Monster cropped at 6 weeks bloom. Reveg will probably take a while, but she rooted in 11 days. 1 Link to comment

HazyDaze
I'm not fussed on the term monster cropping, it's not set in stone that a plant will respond the way you expect it too, some do indeed grow all freakish and throw silly amount of spindly branches, but most plants with the care they get and need for the reveg revert back to normal growth by time you're ready to do anything with them, and sometimes they can get in such a mess youd not want to flower them out, it gets to a point with some you'd rather take a fresh clone from it when normal growth resumes and get a nice healthy plant to carry on with. For me anyway. I only do it to save plants I dont want to lose. In other words, dont waste you're time unless you have to save a plant you really dont want to lose. Here's a current one I'm revegging taken late into flower that you could say is monstering Edited December 17, 2021 by HazyDaze 6 Link to comment

I just do it if I have to because of how timing works out. Link to comment
