To be honest, i'd be lying if I was to tell you we knew what we were smoking from last year (specifics, that is). Every plant got dried in the same space, and combined with harvesting in the dark, a bit of sheer panic, some big first-time mistakes and a bit of piss poor planning at the end of the season, we lost track of strains! Gutting. Only positive, is that we've learnt our lessons, and this year everything is tracked a lot better. No mistakes this time round, but you'll have to wait until Sept/Oct for our fave strains! Sorry mate, not the answer you were probably hoping for! Give us a few months and i'll have an answer (side note - this years strains i'm more excited about! GREEN_BOX Posted May 23, 2021 Author Share Posted May 23, 2021 Quick lil update whilst I wait on one of the bandits to arrive for another day of graft Did a final turn-over and ferted 4 out of 6 plots yesterday, ready for plant out. Going to be popping our first seeds of the season tomorrow onwards, in three waves. Will be kept inside for 2 weeks tops, then straight out into the plots. Deciding to do a day-time blender of a plant out, rather than an all-night mission like last year. We'll see how it goes... Anyway, a quick before and after of plot 2 (before pic was used a page or so back) - After Absolute unit of a tool we just picked up - highly recommended for about £20-30 dependent on where you buy. Eats through thicc () live branches like nothing. Now, would it really be a TYHB grow diary without copious amounts of soil porn? I don't think so. It goes without saying - as far as this year’s diary is concerned, it’s been a bit of a disappointing letdown. However, the Yellow Handle Bandits stop at nothing. Absolutely nothing. Whilst this thread’s been quiet, we’ve been getting extremely busy down our plots, and I have a shit load of photos to share with you all Before we get into it, I think it also goes without saying - life can sometimes get busy out of nowhere. A quick update has been on my mind for a while (ok, it's been on my mind constantly), I’ve just not got round to it until now. Sorry to disappoint and leave people hanging! It's quality to see all the familiar GG faces still uploading. Will be good to catch up with everyone. Whilst we haven’t been too active on here, aside from lurking now and then, we have something to show, and there’s always next year for a full diary (just like I said last year…). Due to where we’re at, and the fact the season is pretty much coming to a close, I’ve decided a few photo dumps will be the best way to show what we’ve been up to, accompanied by some short descriptions and stories.
