UKsFinest
Repotted them all today in a mix of 20L clover multipurpose about 8L of worm castings and 13 scoops of bat guano. It was a struggle to get them out of the pots I really was not expecting this many roots

UKsFinest
@mikeydoughnut thanks man to be honest these have more roots than my previous grow that finished in these size pots! Crazy.. @TheGreenShabeenReturns thanks dude full steam ahead for the velvet octane #1 it's crazy vigorous.. I was going to take some pics but after potting up they looked a little stressed so I'll give em a couple of days to recover and update with some better pics of the plants.. Crazy I can't believe they are in their finals already @HSO-Mark are you ok bud haven't seen you about for a little while.
Oldbear
Just catching up here, those velvets are real goers. Looking top in here, those intense nutes are working a treat

Looking top in here, those intense nutes are working a treat I definitely have messed up here somewhere I thought by potting up it would allow me to give them less nutes but I've ended up with magnesium deficiency in all of them unfortunately, then I made another big mistake after noticing the issues I started to panic feed calmag with a foliar spray with the lights on so the plants look like crap all thanks to me... that's why I haven't uploaded any pics kinda demotivating when you are trying your best and fuck up. Fingers crossed I can get them back on track, one velvet octane is growing suspiciously male like it's so vigorous I will upload pics later today when the lights are back on. I'm in hard water but I have been getting calmag issues every grow should I need to be adding calmag to the intense organix? @Intense Nutrients Matt

It's the balance between the two that is so important. Hard or soft is only part of your answer for water. You should find on your suppliers website a water analysis report, in that is your calcium and magnesium content, you want a ratio of 3 : 1 calcium : magnesium for correct uptake.
Larry Badgeley
I am also using Clover in my grow but instead of the worm castings and Guano I added "Ecothrive Charge" this contains Calcium and Magnesium and coupled with the Clover I didn't need to add any nutrients until the flowering stage. Maybe something to think about? I am in a soft water area so occasionally have added cal/mag but I think from now on I could top dress a bit of the charge. It's great but strong stuff. I am sure you will get back on track. Good luck to you man.

Oldbear
@UKsFinest Somewhere on their site will be the magnesium and calcium content, that's what you need mate. Adding stuff blindly now without knowing your base only increases the liklihood of issues.

All my recent grows have had issues with deficiencies so definitely not the clover or the nutes especially when I know what other people are achieving with them too so I'm doing something wrong I'll put some pics on when lights are on, could of been where they was in the smaller pots a bit too long and had no nutes to drink? UKsFinest
Well guys I'm extremely disappointed to announce both velvet octanes are hermies or full on males from what I can see, it's early days so I'll give em a while before cut em down but from what I can see it doesn't look good I can only see what looks like balls forming... Not very happy as I planned to fill my tent up before I flip but don't know if I'll have enough bud to last me till then.. think I'll just pop a couple more seeds
