Have you tried beer traps for slugs? I'm using them instead of slug pellets this year with dozens of plants already out and unharmed by the slimy little bastards. Yet to be tested in wet weather to be fair but they always end up full of slugs ime.

That’s really spooky as my poor old White Widow Auto which is already very ill also got attacked by the slimy bastards last night - the first time it’s happened to me. Slug pellets did not deter it. Is it too late to germinate autos now?

Love reading the stories and seeing the progress so far @Happyeccentric sorry to hear about the slug damage, show those slimy nasties who's boss! I often day dream about how to get my revenge on the little critters that eat my cannabis plants.. I wonder if cannabis oil would slow a slug down or deter it..? I'll likely have so much mouldy material at the end of the season I could always RS oil it for the little bastards if it proved effective!

If memory serves @zug and @Andromedian had a cool gadget they made from a few 9v batteries
