Leafneck
Kick starting my next grow as I've just invested in a little veg cab for the 1st 3 weeks of germination/vegging. 1 week flush left on my SweetDeepGrapefruit grow so while I flush harvest and dry in my flower room I'm able to start my next grow. Here's a cheeky peek of the sdg at from last saturday Little beauty only cost me £40 . It's a 60cm x 90cm x 90 cm so perfect for those 1st few weeks . I'm going to place it on top of an insulation board from work. Inside I have a double 2ft t5 light. 6" fan 1ft tube heater to take the chill off when the light goes out . I'll be doing a 20/4 light schedule once germinated , around 4pm I'll be placing all 13 seeds in separate glasses and half fill with 18 degree water and place in my airing cupboard until 6am-7am then I'll transfer to jiffys and the adventure starts. See you on the next update .

Guest
Looking awesome fella. Very tidy set up. That sweet deep grapefruit looks great and I am gutted mine never germed after seeing yours. I’ve not tried the blueberry cookies but the ogc have some kick to them. Really top smoke. Gonna tag along and drop my fold up deckchair just here mate if ok. The view is grand. Atb bud. Is that the kettle I hear? Grab the cookies while you down there mate
Leafneck
grape fruit is on flush now .. honestly apart from the height issue it's been so easy and trouble free. Thanks for the kind words bro I hope you enjoy the diary .. I'm going to run 2 of the blueberry cookies along with 6 ocean grown fingers crossed . A few have said the stretch is only around 30cm on the OGC ? Just got to have a read on the BBC stretch now and I can find the right height to flip . I'll be using 18 litre pots instead of 25 litre pots for this grow.
Leafneck
Just waiting on the last 4 to pop up now , 8 are up. Took a couple pictures after work .. 6 of them have risen out the jiffy wearing their helmet .. looks like an American football team in the propagator Not alot to update at the moment. 22-26 degrees and 65% humidity Jiffys are still moiste from when I soaked them when planting the seed, shall I top each jiffy with a fresh 5ml of water with a little plant start or leave them until all germinated and prop lid removed

Leafneck
I was under the impression it's fine for the first 48-62 hours while they germinate ? It will be 62 hours when I finish work today so I'm going to go ahead and leave the lid on for now but I'll do some digging into what you have adviced buddy thankyou
Leafneck
11/12 germinated, perfect. Still plan on running 6 OGC and 2 BBC. Lid is now off the prop , small fan circulating abit of air around , from my last seed grow the fan in the room dried the jiffy out so I'll be feeding around 5ml morning and night (if required that is , I'll find out over the coming days) If you have a zoom on the picture most of the jiffys have a long root poking out the bottom .. shall I put these ones up so the roots can explore a lovely pot of coco ? Or wait for a couple more roots first . Thankyou for looking in.
Leafneck
Growing nice with no problems. 24 degrees 65-70% humidity. Monday I'll be turning light to 20/4 At the moment I'm using 2ml plant start :1 litre 0.5ml root stim : 1 litre 18 degree water Ph 5.9 Just spotted into 1.5 litre pots , may be a little big for some peoples liking but I've not hit a problem starting with this size . Will update Monday.. busy weekend harvesting the SDG <3
Leafneck
Afternoon , not at work today so got a lot of house work done and abit of work in the veg cab. Fed them yesterday and realised the veg cab had condensated alot ! 90% humidity too And I know it can lead to mould ... so I opened up a vent flap and I cant really afford an extraction and filter right now plus I dont have any place to extract apart from into the inside of the garage . So I got busy with some spare ducting and improvised .. it's not stupid if it works right ? Got 2 weeks drying out in the flower room then I'll be having a big scrub down with silver bullets and the vegging cookies can have the flower space then. 10 days since planting, still on 3ml plants start 1ml root stim. Ph 5.9 and 18 degree water . I'm spraying 2 x a day with evolution by vitalink also. Just switched lights to 20/4 and set timer for tube heater to kick in when lights off so will monitor temps. Check out the SDG diary if your intrigued what's drying out in the flower room.
