Have kept the 'group cut' as it's essentially a better structured, louder version. It vanished for 20 years and magically surfaced. Nobody knows anyone that was growing it 5 hears ago or ten or twenty who's held it all this time as far as I can see. Tbh we suspect its actually a much newer cut than claimed from newer stock with a good story attached to sell. We had high hopes, expecting it to blow our cut away. Lots of us were disappointed it didn't live up to the hype that's all. Most of the people now growing and smoking the 98 have no baseline of what a really good ssh can be. Very few have grown it alongside original cuts. Everyone that hss has agreed with what I've said. I didn't talk down to anyone. My comment wasn't aimed at anyone and was suprised tbh when it was taken as such. It's like me saying I drove a Ford ka at the weekend and thought it was crap compared to my ferrari. Then someone with a Ford ka chiming in thinking it was a personal insult because they rate it as the best thing ever. Was merely passing comment on a haze cut I've tried in a tread talking about hazes. Hadn't read much to catch up. Not quite sure why others who have the cuts think me not rating it as a personal attack on them. Weird. Ego much? I've not been round much, have I missed the part where I can't pass comment on plants now for fear of upsetting someone else that likes it Wtf has this place become. Even vrg never got his shirt up if I said I thought the blues cut was crap. Which is another crap cut that's been held for decades. I'm out. I actually found a joint of 98ssh last week in my drawer and have to say it’s no different from the standard haze that’s about everywhere. Maybe people like the 98 because it’s done in 9 weeks.
