Best Haze in seed form for that incensy/frankincense smell/taste

Hey guys, I'm looking to find some seeds for my next grow, and really want to try and give myself a chance to find some Haze phenos with a particular terpene profile that gives a strong 'burning sage' or frankincense type smell in the air, plus THAT taste too. I consider it the true 'hazey' taste, as everytime I've had a top notch haze it leaves that smell in the room after smoking it. Not sure what's going on, but those ones always seem to 'work' with my brain too - sort me right out, so to say. I've got a bit of PTSD, so it might be THCV, or the terpenes....I dunno. But I'm on the hunt.

Haze strains I've had before like this have been phenos of Super Lemon Haze (only once), Super Silver Haze (more times than once I've bought super silver and it had that sagey, incensy funk), Afghan Haze (one of the best strains I ever smoked), Silver Bubble and vanilla haze. All of those were purchased off mates, I didn't grow them. It seems pretty random, and lots of haze phenos grown out don't end up having that flavour or smell.

I'm just after maximising my chances of getting it. So far, it would seem a MNS Neville's or SSH might be my best bet.

I'm ideally after fem seeds, but seeing as a lot of people point to MNS as the best source of hazes, I'm willing to try a reg seed grow.

It's weird, as I've gotten older I'm drawn more and more to sativa's, and hazes in particular. They just seem to sort my head out, and don't ruin my day like heavy indicas. Well, as long as they're not too fucking strong haha. Then the anxiety arrives, lol. Anyway....

Stick to regs with hazes mate i think they may be more stable long term .

im not 100% on this as now days they might of sorted it out.

im not say all fems are like that but it would seem the hazy ones are, im my opinion.

you liked the afgan haze try that you may have to buy and pop a few packets but im sure you wil find something you like .

if you can get your hands on the "ojd" she will deliver. that haze hybrid exp .

Stable as in no hermie's?

I grew GHS Super Lemon Haze this past summer, and although the heatwave made it difficult, it ended up a nice if mild day smoke., almost like a nice strong Thai weed/sticks type high.....but it didn't have that hazey taste or smell unfortunately. No bananas though, and it got super heat stressed - maybe I just got lucky. Took nearly 15 weeks to finish, super sativa pheno looking....but yielded amazing.

I've actually got an original haze seed - from a bag of genuine original haze. One of the most psychedelic, intense weeds I've ever smoked! Too much in fact. I remember reaching for a CBD strain because I was tripping too hard haha. Few years back now (2013 actually). And it looked weird - super thin n' long sugar leaves wrapping up and around the elongated wispy buds. So not gonna pop that seed, but it's nice to have it :)

What's the OJD mate?

Haha, nice. I get the fear pretty easily from strong sativa's.....but I find when they have the right indica genetics mixed in it offsets that a bit. Which is why I like certain Hazes. So, Afghan Haze, for example, I found to be pure medicine. Could smoke it all day long, go shopping, socialise. It put me at ease! And no sleepiness after the buzz or 'sativa crash' which you sometimes get with buzzy sats. Fucking amazing weed. Think I'm gonna grab a pack of those at least, fingers crossed for a frankincensy pheno...

Haha, I bet mate! Pure haze is almost a bit much. And generally I find that if the THC level on a sativa is over a certain level, sketchiness is almost guaranteed, and they have no 'ceiling' to the high like some body stone hybrids/indicas.

You ever tried Acapulco Gold? Or any of the landrace sativa's knocking about?

I remember I was DJing one time, quite a 'big gig' for me, and I smoked some of that pure original haze on the way there in my mates car (always smoke before playing out) - I was fucked. Giggling, but super sketchy and jumpy. Super nervous about DJing all of a sudden. That's when all the fuss about CBD was starting up, so I sparked some critical kush that I'd grown specifically because it was supposed to have 3% cbd. Thought I'd see if it might help with the twitchiness, as it was supposed to. It did! It immediately cancelled out the sketchy haze high no problem. Then my set went good after that - the sketchiness is never good when doing that. That's when I realised how interesting CBD is to sort of regulate THC highs a bit.

I also find that those same trippy as fuck hazes that make you feel like you're going mad in a shopping queue are amazing out in the countryside, or anywhere visually interesting. It's like they're meant for viewing Nature! People don't talk much about the setting when it comes to weed, but with strong trippy sativas, it's important I reckon.

I was going to recommend connoseur genetics too, he does a lot of cool stuff with hazes and I'd love to have another crack at the SSSDH I didnt have a good crack the first time round. On his instagram he's mentioned he's working with "the church" and other stuff that has the incense, old church, sagey sort of smell. My kind of thing tbh!

Love a sat. Still to grow old timers haze but is planned when the stars align. Ace seeds have some excellent haze / sativa strains. Sounds like golden tiger could be up your street.... They also produce very stable fen lines from experience.

Thanks mate, great shout! I remember going down a rabbit hole somewhere else online about churchy haze and hearing about Chimera seeds....but I'd forgotten. Frankie's incense haze sounds like the one

Didn't mention this before, but I remember I had a bluey colour tinged haze in the early noughties (around 2002) that was pure sagey incensey churchy smoke - that one was so striking and different tasting/smelling to other weeds at the time I still remember it. Stood out like a sore thumb. Loved it, one of the nicest smokes me and my friends had back then. Dunno what it was, maybe a MNS Neville's Haze or something. The guy we got it off usually got fairly obvious strains, so that's why I'd guess a neville's....

Haha, test yourself lol I used to enjoy doing that, but sometimes I've nearly lost it in a queue or something haha, so no more lol

I play and make underground trippy techno stuff mate, been doing it for near enough 20 years now. Had some alright successes, decent amount of vinyl releases n stuff. I'm on the spectrum a bit though and love my weed, so can't be dealing with all the posers and whatnot haha. But I'm an absolute music nut. Getting baked and listening to or making music is still pretty much my favourite thing to do in life!

Sensi seeds silver haze can produce the incense pheno you talk about, A friend of mine tried a pack the other year and most of the girls exhibited a incense taste and smell.

I know this is the #9 but they look very much like the reg seed of silver haze.
