BDG
Ok time to get this one started, I've managed to keep some bonsai mums alive for half a year in 6cm squares (still going too) so this shouldn't be too hard it's probably about 3x the root space in a king pot noodle. What i will be using this grow: Pm soil supreme, H&G Batmix, Oldtimers bloom, Fishmix, shropshire seaweed, pm rootstim, Bio silicone. Lots of vegging time under 24hr T5 and plenty pruning, hand watering. No fancy shit to go wrong in here! Flowering will be under 315 CMH I may also add in some other special guests from the HSO Catalogue for flower, I have 3x (more) bubba gift 3x Black Dog and 4x Pineapple skunk all vegging away as well. Small drainage holes, see how we go for now I can enlarge later if needed. Seed in some soil supreme and we are off!! I'll let the bottom root out first and fill in the rest with batmix as she grows up and out the pot. Sat under a T5 unit for now, wait to see some heads pop up. All for now, good luck everyone!

Ahhh those famous last words If you've kept other plants like this then that would be a definite advantage so we should see great things coming from this grow As I see germination is going well with 2/3 up (some members are struggling even at this stage) and I'm sure no3 will not be far behind Good luck with this grow my friend. I'll be along for the ride and watching with interest Until next time Kind regards Mark..

BDG
I am sorry guys and @HSO-Mark, so much on at the moment grow and work wise. They are Alive still! But I have not even got round to putting any more soil in the pots yet. Should do that really, only in an inch or two currently. I'll get some pics up shortly, there's really not been much to report just lots an lots of watering
BDG
Apologies on the lack of updates guys. Group shot, just had a bit of a foliar feed of shropshire seaweed. Sticky Rib Bubba still playing catch up, no problem as they will even out once i start topping them. Still not topped up the soil yet, may pop them out the pots next water have a little root check before i do any topping up. Nice and tight! Not much to report they are slow veggers like the bubba kush, not helped by the lack of lighting - under just 50w of T5 rammed in the corner of my veg area. Plan is to top up the soil next water and top the girls to get them bushing out, nice tight node spacing on these currently. I need to decide on how i'm going keep these hydrated once flowering, currently thinking of either adding wicking and reservoir or some sort of pump and drippers. These will get vegged as long as possible, so flowering will commence sometime around the end of october under a dedicated 315 cmh, i'll be more dedicated with updates now that things are moving along. Guess i best go check out the competition, been off the boards a while now!
HSO-Mark
Considering the very small ammount of medium being used (so far) the growth is very impressive You've only used what 1/3-1/2 of the containers potential?, which will allow more medium to be added at a later date (I would do before you enter bloom ) Now this is a very cool strategy, and one I'm very interested to see play out Thanks for the pot noodle update mate, I'll drop back in on the next Kind regards Mark.. BDG
Sorry about the slow updates, im very busy you know.. or is that lazy!? Anyway I know its kind of against the weekly update rules but im just in it for the laugh really so i'll just do me own thing and hope everyone enjoys. The Bubba noodles were starting to look a little sad and started stretching so it was time to give them some medium to grow into finally. 1 part worm casts, 2 parts bat mix special, 1 part soil supreme Bio char, ecothrive charge, calcified seaweed, mycorrhizal fungi, kelp meal, rock dust, just in case they needed something extra as they are going to be medium deprived. Lets hope its not too hot, but i suspect it will be fine. Chicken mushroom Bubba: Beef Tomato Bubba: Sticky Rib Bubba: Group shots: Off on holiday in a few weeks so hopefully these will be nicely rooted out, plan is to insert wicking using nft spreader mat never tried anything like that before but i have over a hundred plants in veg to try keep alive while I am away so it better bloody work! Luckily I have got a bit of time to experiment before i go away, until next time
BDG
Talking of experiments and small pots, currently flowering out 24 phenos of various varieties looking for some potential mums using 1.5 litre pots, hopefully will get some similar results with a pot noodle... Disco #7 Cant wait to get this one in a bigger pot if the smoke test ticks the right boxes. This is my second pack of discos and this one is stacking up to be the best of the bunch, definite potential mum material. Cherry Vanilla cookies #4 really pretty girl this one real creamy smell to her, this is only the second biggest yielder of these Cherry Vanilla Cookies but i was too scared to try get the other one out of the tent incase the stem snapped. I caned this one after the pics, tent of bloody beanstalks All my pics are a bit shit currently camera phone is really struggling to find focus and really needs replacing but you get the idea, nice plants in small pots is very doable even using compost and organics.
