And you kno what they say, the bigger the root the bigger the fruit,

 

Your  idea is not to far off similar to my original plan, but as you have probably read I couldn’t keep the rez cool enough,

you are obviously coping well with the temps, do you have a cooler running?

Hi mate yea i think im gna get a new flavour and put the hole a bit higher lol. Nah not got a cooler mate but i could do with one the temps are just insane! I got them about 3ft away from the light and they shaded a bit under some other plants. Im finding them quite slow vegging im sure they will take off when i flip

If you can manage to make that res a little bigger those roots are going to appreciate that extra leg room

Thanks mark i was going to go with 4 tops but i changed my mind and decided on 2. I tied them both down with a coat hanger to spread them out a bit. Still need to make the res bigger and i recon in about 10 days im gonna flip.

a much forgotten art ..kudos point added for that ..its why its hard to find the wire coathangers ..growers in the early 80s sequestered them for pot noodle growing .

Bloody hell sorry for the delay peeps i didnt realise how long its been! 

Ok, so basically i did what i was going to do and raise the hole, to do that i had to use a new pot, and i changed the flavour to show you this. You can just make out the hole in the pics.

Ive been defoliating to slow the rate of transpiration, also took a few puny growing tips away. Ive also topped the pots with clay balls to help slow it down further.

Today is day 1 of flower now and they got a 250w metal halide to themselves in 80x80x160 tent.
