Mcgarret
WEEK 10 x3 HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 32, 74 and 68 days old. x3 HSO Blue Dream Auto 32, 33 and 74 days old. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 68 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 68 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 74 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 74 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, 74 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, Bud, 74 days. Feed: 4ml Bloom, been drinking 2L every 2 days in this heatwave. Think half a week more feed, then last few days, will flush with plain water. Summary: Tenth week, penultimate week ahead. Buds bulking, colas lengthening (hence, shots of whole plant instead of just colas), pistils need to amber up more, foliage is yellowing, resisting the urge to crop early. Patience not my forté, come this far, can go a bit further. Weather is set fair for next fortnight, they’ll be down by then. Second wave of autos are flowering (4th week), loving the weather looking better at this stage than the late April batch, except for the Dedo Haze runt, she’s another fragile baby prone to ailments, I’ll nurse her along. M eta: last week 9 caption, messed up again in the group shot, should swap the two oldest Dedo Haze captions, my bad sub editor.
Mcgarret
WEEK 11 x3 HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 78, 39 and 75 days old. x3 HSO Blue Dream Auto 39, 40 and 81 days old. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 75 days, nutty earthy aroma. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 75 days, pistils are well brown, exhibiting fox tails. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 78 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 78 days, although small buds, she’s got amber trichs. HSO Blue Dream Auto, 81 days, big solid buds, nutty aroma. HSO Blue Dream Auto, Bud, 81 days, frosty fooker. Feed: 4ml Bloom, been drinking 2L every 2 days in this heatwave. Had two flushes with 2L plain water, since. Summary: Fingers crossed, no mould on the plants, daily vigilance an imperative - got my defence set up, tracking any incursion into my zone, not taking my eye off the ball - come on Ingland! Older Dedoverde Haze Auto and the Blue Dream Auto have a few amber trichs now. These Autos are now at the same age as my last Autos indoors - which never got to amber trichs stage, just cloudy trichs. Seeing as this summer has seen unusually perfect growing conditions, the theory that Autos take a bit longer outside than indoors might be blurred this year? Heatwave over now, got one more week of dry weather, low 20s Cº, followed by rain for a few days, same temps, but humidity and mould risk up. Hence, I’m aiming at taking them in a week, making them over 13 and 12 weeks old by then. What say you @HSO-Mark? Do you concur? Second wave of Autos are bushier at this stage and nearly as tall as their elders. They should be done late August. Spider’s Arse. Bug - Shield Bug? Last year they were green, this summer they’ve either got a tan or is a new visitor? Grub - curls leaf up together housing a cocoon with its head showing, squashed it. Sheep - keep them off my ladies, but watered and feeding on my fields, got lots of organic poo for next year. M eta: Slugs and snails conspicuous by their absence this summer. Note the browning fields - farmers are crying out for rain down ‘ere - Lat 50.5º.
Jibba jabba
Alright there @Mcgarret Just caught up with your diary mate, I don’t know where to start, lovely garden, great view, your acrer plant reminded me of my Nan, she had a few, I haven’t seen one since I was last around the house. Mark is away for a bit, but I have read that for the autos outside you increase the time by 20/25%, compared to doing them indoors, but sure your eye will do a good job. Look forward to seeing tour harvest pictures. Take it easy.Jj
Mcgarret
Hey @Jibba jabba, cheers m8, appreciate the vibe. Got near 5 acres of land, come legalisation I'll set up a Cannabis Co-op on it... That's my dream... Mark away eh? Hope some1 is watering his plants? The next post in my diary is the beginning of the end - need to crop now and or tomorrow. Sheep have started to probe the defences, must take pre-emptive action, dont want to loose them at this stage - plants not the bloody sheep! Mcgarret
WEEK 12 x3 HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 47, 82 and 86 days old. x3 HSO Blue Dream Auto 47, 48 and 88 days old. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 82 days. Nutty/dank earthy aroma. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 82 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 86 days. Zingy/nutty/dank earthy aroma but more so than her younger sister. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 86 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, 88 days. Frosty and very sticky, sweet fruity floral aroma. HSO Blue Dream Auto, Bud, 88 days. Feed: Third and last flush with 2L plain water, for the April autos. Summary: Now it’s chop time for the April Autos. Foliage is knackered and has done it’s job. All April Auto plants showing amber trichs, pistils 85-95% brown, fox tailing and stacking. Can’t complain about a slight shower of rain this morning - wash off any dust before they’re down. Been a wonderful summer for growing - veg patch too. Such stonking growing conditions that the second wave of May autos are almost two weeks ahead in bud development than the April batch. Had an accident with a Blue Dream Auto - snapped side branch, cat chasing a butterfly to blame. Her pounce caused a garden chair to fall on it! All that causation from the beat of a butterfly’s wing… M eta: Interested in everyone’s cropping autos now and what strains? Bet there’s some brilliant crops this summer. A dive into the forum will tell.
Mcgarret
WEEK 13 x3 HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 53, 92 and 88 days old. x3 HSO Blue Dream Auto 54, 53 and 94 days old. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 88 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 88 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, chop time, day 90. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 92 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 92 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, chop time, day 97. Really dense buds at the bottom of the stem, almost like the top cola was growing down here, as was thin bud at the top of the stem. HSO Blue Dream Auto, 94 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, Bud, 94 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, chop time, day 95. Feed: 2L plain water, for the April autos. May autos on same feed regime till flush. Summary: Chopped all April Autos this last week. The pistils were withered and trichs were brown, think I left them too long. Found bits of mould on all April autos, not lots, but enough to annoy and tell myself to chop earlier with the next May batch. Also, this time, too much crispy dead foliage to remove. Weather has just broken yesterday, heavy showers, wind and much needed rain again tonight and tomorrow. Return to warm in August. Been bringing the plants into the GH for protection, doors, vents open, and 3 fans blowing - mould is my nemesis now. Although it’s been a record breaking remarkable summer - drought and heat, I’m in a temperate rain forest zone, high humidity lately. As I’ve managed a second crop of Autos this summer, I’ll keep posting with the May batch of Autos, plan to chop the May Autos in about 3 weeks. Nice now, being down to just 3 plants to care for and wised up to their traits. Weights and smoke reports for the April Autos due in about 2 weeks. They’ve been drying indoors but temps have been 25º+, with a fan. Wow, so much info but that’s the real deal with my diaries, warts and all. Apols for slight blur on pics - lower left of pics - factor 50 sun lotion on lens. Hoverfly, (Syrphinae), last witness bar me to the HSO Blue Dream Auto. Pond, can always jump in when the wild fires come. Love my garden, thought I’d share the bigger picture with fellow Jardiners, including @HazyDaze and @Sp1n and @Jibba jabba and @HSO-Mark. Third summer here, mashed the old Leylandii hedges, put in a veg patch and GH. Got my fields and woods to play in, as you do… Moon Rise - evening before the (obscured) blood red moon. Sun already set, moon struck by light reflected from blood red clouds, me struck by wonder. M

HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, 63 days. HSO Dedoverde Haze Auto, Bud, 63 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, 63 days. HSO Blue Dream Auto, Bud, 63 days. Purple tinge to leaf tips. Feed: 2L Autos, 4ml bloom, 0.5ml MagCal, half strength PK booster. This will be their maximum dosage, start flushing next week. Summary: Skipped week 8, as this was in sync with the April autos. By the time I’d finished cropping them it was nearly ninth week for the May autos. The autos, even the Dedoverde Haze runt are looking better, bigger, denser than their earlier April sisters, smelling strong too. August forecast is dry and warm. Shall take the Autos in about 2 weeks (or sooner) to pre-empt mould - once bitten… Chrysalis, found on a curing HSO Blue Dream Auto. Echoes of Giger. eta: nice looking buds curing from the April autos. M
