New Strains and Some Old Favourites, 8 Plant Multistrain Dinafem Adventure.

The Purps#1 Indica pheno has been the most fussy and challenging plant in the grow, she is greedy and I under fed and lost lots of bottom leaves early in flower, I then over fed her a little and have some minor burn on some leaf tips.

Despite being so fussy she wins the prize for the biggest fattest donkey dick colas in the grow. she is still throwing out white pistils and is swelling up nicely.

She went yellow pretty quickly after flowering had started and I slowly upped the Fishmix maxing out at 5ml for a few feeds, I think she had a little too much and I should have stopped at 4ml, no real damage done apart for some slightly burnt leaf tips. Massive colas though, lovely stuff.

The Purps#1 Tall Pheno has been easy to grow, she has 6 main colas and has a very kush like structure.

3ml of Fishmix was the most she has been fed and she has stayed nice and green throughout. She has a few bananas on her but the seem to be empty when pulled off.

And finally some more general shots of the growroom at day 53.

You cant beat a tent full of Dinafem ladies putting on a colourful late season flower show.

Time to sit back and watch the buds swell up.

@Smokebelch Killing it again with his amazing pictures  :yep:

Out of the 2 Purps I love the look and structure of the "indica" dominant pheno. I know she's been a pain to grow but by the look of things going to be well worth it. Don't get me wrong, pheno 2 looks stunning but pheno1 is going to be the 1 lol

Pardon the pun brother and thank you for the amazing shots.

Until next time my friend  ;)

All the best

@Dinafem-Mark Cheers dude, yeah that indica pheno Purps#1 is turning to a beast, I just hope those big colas are mould free, I have been keeping a close eye on all the plants since my PMD succumbed to it but so far they look ok.

@SaltyCheers dude, that Purple Moby Dick is going really purple now, I will try and get some photos of her tomorrow evening.

The only thing you can do brother is be vigilant with your checks, monitor your temps and humidity and get as much airflow as possible  :yep:

You know what your doing brother  :bong:

Shame about the rot on the big PMD dude, the others look amazing though, great work.

AFAIAA nanas are different to hermaphrodite male flowers and release pollen as soon as they show, unlike the male flowers that open up and drop their pollen. Only what I've read though mate (about the nanas releasing pollen unopened) and don't know how true it is. Also they might not be viable even if they have released pollen and the grow is at a late stage anyway so hopefully you won't have many seeds, if any at all.

Massive colas dude and you're doing them great justice with your pics, lovely colours :yep:

Your correct mate. Typically if a feminized plant hermies it is usually very late in the flowering stage (a lot of discussion as to why. Could be stress or the female plants last ditch attempt at producing offspring)

As you said the pollen produced is 99% of the time unviable and sterile. As you are not working with a true female plant selected from regular seed but feminized seeds.

Thanks for your input brother :yep:

After a stressfull humid week the plants were chopped in the early hours of Saturday morning at day 66. In my pary of the country we were a little bit unlucky last week and had high humidity again all week, even though I am using a dehumidifier I was finding small bits of bud rot on some of the plants, nothing major but I did have to remove a few nice buds from the colas, I was very worried that I was going to find a lot more inside them when I chopped them but luckily I didnt find anymore in there.

Here are some group shots of the plants at day 66 just before I chopped them on Saturday morning.

Remo Chemo day 63.

She has been a joy to grow out, fuss free and easy to keep green and lush right until the end. Ideally she could have done with another a week or so but I had to I chop this weekend.

She was ok with 2ml of fish mix and 2ml of Bloom pretty much all the way until the end. She has a large amount of resin on her, Mark called her the resin monster.

When she was chopped her tight, round golf ball type buds gave off a nice stinking hash, lemon and fuel smelling aroma.

@Jibba jabbaCheers dude, yeah she was easy to trim, took around 45 mins and I got some nice hashy tasting finger hash off the latex gloves, I am vaping some now, its very strong.

The Purple Moby Dick did turn purple over the last few weeks of flower which is a nice bonus.  She was easy to grow using mainly 3ml fish mix and 2ml bloom.

She he doesn’t seem to have yeilded as much as the others with noticeably less bud in her drying rack.

She has tight purple buds which smell sweet and fruity and have lots of foxtails on the cola tops, I lost a few nice bits from one of her colas to a bit of bud rot during the last week of flower and I did notice a fair few nanas on her when she was chopped. She was well cooked and ready for the chop by 9 weeks.

These shots were on day 64

The Purps#1 the tall, purple pheno. Still my favourite plant in the grow and made even better by the late flower purple and orange colours.

She has very tight fruity smelling slightly purple buds, I think due to the tightness of the buds she will be a good yielder.

She he has a few nanas but hasn’t suffered any bud rot at all, like the PMD she is well cooked.

These photos were taken on day 64.

@Smokebelch Congratulations on another successful Dinafem harvest on UK420  :yep:

With the outdoor weather being so unpredictable at present this is causing major issue for the indoor grower.

Due to how dense some of those buds were and the high humidity this made conditions rampant for the dreaded budrot.

They all looked ready mate so I have to agree and say you called the harvest at the right time  :)

Remo is a pure resin monster and has a great bud to leaf ratio making her very easy to trim :yep:

Nice to see that Purple Moby dick did turn purple later in bloom and she put out some nice size buds my friend  :bong: maybe not the biggest yield but that end product is going to be fire ;)

2 very pretty phenos of The Purps#1. Both looked stunning but the taller pheno just had something special about her :bong:

Good luck with the drying stage mate and can't wait to hear your thoughts on the end product when fully dry and cured of course  ;)

All the best

Mark..
