New Strains and Some Old Favourites, 8 Plant Multistrain Dinafem Adventure.

Cheers for the kind words guys, I am really enjoying this grow doing things a little differently with less but bigger plants has made things a bit more interesting and its looking like some of the colas are going be huge, I am glad I now have a dehumidifier for late flower as I dont want any of it going mouldy.

 

After doing a lot of research I went for a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 bridge camera, quite a lot of work has gone into the few photos that end up in the diary, for the photos in this update I took around 100 photos, I have to go through them and choose the best ones, they are them cropped and spruced up with software before I upload them to my gallery. The whole process takes about 2 hours at the moment as its all new to me, its great fun though and it nice seeing a quality bud shot at the end of the process.

 

Today is day 34 in my Dinafem garden and the plants are well into flowering now, I have no dramas to report, as always the genetics are sound and the plants are doing me proud.

 

This update is all about the Purps#1, first up is the tall pheno, she is still my favourite plant in the grow, I think I said before really like plants with this kush like structure, they have no side branching just big fat cola branches that need no support and they stay fairly level when topped, plants like this are usually fuss free and pretty easy to control and as an added bonus are very easy to trim once chopped.

 

She has been really easy to grow and has been doing fine on 2ml Fishmix, 1ml of Algamic and 1ml of bloom, now they coming up to week 5 I will be upping the bloom to 2ml and just carry on with the Fishmix and algamic.

 

These photos were taken at the weekend so around about day 30, you can see some purple hues coming out in this pheno

This other Pheno is much shorter and is more branchy, this plant is the most fussy in the grow and the only plant that is showing any major yellowing, I have lost a fair few of the bottom leaves on her despite upping the Fishmix to 4ml, I think its slowed down now and the top half of the plant is still lush, green and healthy and producing some big trich heavy smelly buds so I am not concerned.

 

I have been slowly upping the Fishmix due to the yellowing leaves and she is now on 4ml plus 1mm Bloom and 1ml Algamic. Again she will be getting 2ml of Bloom from now on.

 

Again these photos were taken at the weekend so around day 30.

Both the Purps#1 are smelling really fruity, the tall one is the smelliest by far.

I will take both the Strawberry Amnesia and Remo Chemo out of the tent tomorrow for some full plant shots but then after that all the plants will be staying in the tent until the chop, I want to leave them alone now to get on with producing a nice flower show for me plus they stink my flat out too much now.

 

 Its day 34 and My light comes on at 5pm, when I looked in there this evening none of the plants need to be fed and watered so its a rare night off for me, I grabbed a few photos just before the light came on.

if you remember i asked your opinion on the vape x hale, thanks for the info i love it, and cant wait to vape some too. 

what are the purps and remo smell like?

i have a remo, pmd, and 2 quick criticals in early veg for some holiday cheer.

@samhigh No worries on the advice dude, I am glad your are enjoying the Evo Cloud, I still love mine, big clouds of thick creamy vapour and nice flavour all day long.

 

Both the Purps plants just smell really fruity to me I think, sometimes I find it hard to describe smells. The Remo is in an awkward place in the tent so it’s hard to get a sniff off, I am getting it out of the tent tomorrow so will let you know then what it’s like. 

 

It sounds like you have a nice selection in the wings ready for Xmas time dude.

I thought I'd check out that camera you have & oh my! £570!!!!!!!! You must have a much better paid job than I have! 

 

I want to ask what you use to vape your meds with?

I got the Mighty, which I like, but I never get the plumes I need & I need something better. I used to have the volcano years ago, which always got me baked, but when I gave up back then I gave it away. I thought about getting one this time, but I don't really like the idea of a bag.

@AKPOG  its a vapexhale cloud evo ,theres a thread on it in the vape section. you can use it for herb and oil, i like bibble hash in mine.

@AKPOGI didnt pay that much for the camera, it was £528 plus I got it with a £50 cashback deal so it was £478, still a lot of money I know but I never buy anything big like this usually, I have a nice TV, a PS4, a few nice vapes and thats it really. I could only afford this and a laptop as my dad left me some money when he died a few years ago. I though I would use a bit of it to treat myself to some new toys. I have been outside today taking photos and its a brilliant camera, well worth the money.

 

My plants are now at day 38 and still no dramas, I have upped the Bloom on all of them to 2ml and they are all still getting 1ml of Algamic and then then each plant is getting Fishmix at differing amounts depending on how hungry they are looking. The plan is keep them green until the end, the more green and health leaves there are on the plant the more the buds will fatten up at the end.

 

I took the Remo and Strawberry Ammy out of the tent on Wednesday evening for some final full plant photos.

 

This is the Remo Chemo, a very frosty lady which Mark described as being a resin monster, she is the frostiest in the tent but is also the smallest plant which looks like its will have the least yeild on it at the end, that said she smells really nice, potent cannabis smell with hints of fuel maybe. 

 

Currently getting 2ml Bloom, 3ml Fishmix and 1ml Algamic

The Strawberry Amnesia is looking very nice, I love the Variegated leaves on her, she smells hazy but a bit more fruity than the one I grew out before.

 

She is getting fed 2ml Bloom, 2ml Fishmix and 1ml Algamic.
