Well, got to say , these have suprised me, when they germed and grew with the critical +2.0 , they where slow and by the time plant out came they where half the size of the critical, when I got to the plot I was chuffed with how quick they have grown. They are nearly the same size as the critical now :D

large.image.jpgOn the left is the mango , rights the critical large.image.jpg flown up :yep:

Lets hope the keep going like that

Went to do a water run due to the constant sun we are getting

must say that one of these mango sapphires are going to be a monster, it's over 5 feet already and getting wide as well

As you can see, ones half the size of the other and a bit runty looking

i trimmed inside the cages of them and for shits and giggles I took 2 cuttings and in a sort of experiment  iv tried something different from the norm.

May not work but if it does then great

took a 20 litre bottle and filled it a quater to a third full of water and the rest with soil from a bracken field , lovely soil I must say. It's soaking wet sludgy soil. Should stay wet for a week or so in the shade

large.image.jpg

no holes in bucket to keep the soil soaking , next plot visit in a few weeks so will check back then

Ones a beast. :headbang:.  Ones a runt.

large.image.jpglarge.image.jpgThis is the runt, staying about two feet, wired leaf structure.large.image.jpg this things on one, getting as wide as it is tall

Hope these finish tidy with no rot, be on my list for next year if they do.  :yep:

Gave them about 3 litres of water/fish mix
