Just doing a little looking and I see the Highlife competition is held during Cannabis Liberation Day in Amsterdam the last few years and found an advertising banner :

Regarding the Highlife Cannabis Cup in June/July -

Please do share more information when available so I can plan my own little "holiday" and incorporate this event into next year's schedule as early as possible.

Also, the personal tour part of the competition prize for the winners - Is there a company/tour guide in Amsterdam you will be using for this ? If so, can you please share with me the contact details as on my next visit I quite like the idea of a recommended tour guide showing me the best locations.....

Looks like the Highlife will be on the date you mention. I will confirm this as soon as possible and edit the first post of the thread.

Regarding the coffeeshop tour in Amsterdam, in the first 3 editions of the contest "we" (the Sweet Seeds team and Soft Secrets representatives) made the tour. It is not some service that we contract, it's simply one day of walk around Amsterdam and visit the best coffeeshops in the center. I'm not sure if it will be the same this time, but I suppose so.
