Guest b33lz33bub
These were taken on day 53 12/12. I've started to harvest them today on day 55 as I've found 2 small lots of mould over the last 5 or 6 days, so I decided to give them the chop. They're pretty much ready, just one or two that could have done with another week maybe. My mate is coming over to help me trim the second half, which will be great as it's easier and more fun when you can chat and work, share a few joints and beers along the way. I'd been easing off the feed for the last 2 weeks, going from an EC of 1.8 on the stongest two feeds and then slowly back down to the tap water Ec of 0.6 for the last few feeds. I would make up a full tank and do one or two feeds, then top up with water lowering the EC, then repeating the process until there's pretty much no nutirent left. I adjusted the PH to 6.2 for the first half of this, then when the Ec had dropped to about 0.9 i just left the PH as it was. I'd had to support a lot of branches with cable ties to the wire hoops, as the buds were getting so heavy that stems were just buckling. I'm really pleased with the cane and wire hoop supports as i've been able to get in amongst the plants when I've needed to, as when I found the bud rot and was able to check through all the buds or when pruning and training. I might add more canes than 3 to make them a bit more stable. The buds have turned out very dense and frosty, and the smells are very strong and complex. I am realy rating the combination of 400v HPS with 315 CMH lights. Although the lower buds are smaller they are still dense little nuggets, not popcorn. Here's the Big Kush - Yeh man ! I'm absolutely thrilled at how these have turned out. Many funcky colas.
Guest b33lz33bub
Here's the Big kush at the front and the PAK at the back. The Pak isn't very photogenic as the buds are hidden behind the droopy leaves a bit. Very lovely smells. Here's the PAK. Its hard to do it justice with a photo, it looks much better to the eye. I'll try get some decent pics when I harvest tomorrow. They'd turned much more purple in the few days since I took these photos. There's a nice hint of purple in the buds. I'm looking forward to this one after a cure.

desertshaman
Wow that looks incredible @b33lz33bub . Very nice fat buds you have there. Some post trim photos of the PAK would be great. Sorry if I missed it- but wanted to ask what's the room size and is it s a 600w or 400w hps you have there along with the 315w cmh? I am looking at the 315 with interest - its either this or a 600w when I get a grow on again. Leaning towards the 315w. I understand I will/may need 2 different bulbs -one for veg one for flower...? Thanks for sharing and look forward to some more post trim photos ATB DS
Guest b33lz33bub
@@Dan1122 @@desertshaman @@Highburyway Thanks for your comments chaps. It's a 3 x 1.4 m space. @@matthewskyle22 it was the Big Kush - only a tiny bit of mould. I think I will have to get on top of the humidity at lights off, as when the temps drop quickly the RH rises fast and that can lead to condensation on the leaves, which can drip down the leaf stem and into the centre of the bud. I have a SMS hybrid controller, but the old version which doesn't have a humdidity sensor or the automatic 5 min extra fan burst lights off. I might set the minimum fan speed to 2 and heat more light off too. But hey, bur rot is a problem of success as it means there are big fat buds ! Dinafem-Mark
Things are coming along very well mate and good call to chop. Mold/rot can totally decimate a crop in a day so better to get it down and harvested. The pak and big kush look outstanding very nice structure and colours going on. Well done mate you're showing our genetics in the best light Thank you for the picture updates very much appreciated. Enjoy your harvested fruits mate All the best D-M. matthewskyle22
Awesome thanks for the info!!!! I have to say Dinafem has some awesome QC or something. They are doing something right as all the seeds im buying for my outdoor grow this year, is all from thier company! I have found they have the best customer service and seeds from the U.K. HANDS DOWN!! The reviews and grow and smoke reports all almost ALL good! I have waited years for initiatives to finally pass in my state here in the U.S. and while I waited I studied on line countless hour nights and nights....grow report after grow report. I even went to Colorado for a summer to learn some tricks from my friends about growing awesome meds. I have grown before but not medicinally just some Mexican crap bud you see all over here. Anyways all you guys here on Uk420 Are friendly, nice, and a little cheeky..but I love it You guys have helped me so much with my new collective> truly thanks!
