Hi there Amnesia,been following this with what little free time i`ve had of late and alls progressing as expected,apart of course from the Sweet Specials.

As ya say yourself,things don`t always happen as they should,`tis Mother Nature-ish after all and one of Serpents` seems to have the same traits as well!

Think the wisest move is the 12/12 ploy,then only time will tell!

Otherwise,as ever,top growing and the piccies seem to be getting clearer,more up close.....how?

Anyways thought i`d drop in while i had a spare few mins......Hope alls well in the Amnesia household.......

Hiphip, bibs64. Makes it more interseting under the 12/12 seeing how they eventually turnout, Glad you are enjoying it so far.

So today is their first day under 12/12 lighting, they look happy today and even the Sweet Specials look as though they have greened up a bit since i watered them overnight!

I thought i would show you all the little budlets (or lack of buds regarding the Sweet Specials! ) how they look today after the first period of 12 hours darkness so that we can compare pics in the update in a few days time.

Hi mate, Looking good. I've only done a couple of autos once (Black Jack Auto) and they were finished (last 2 weeks) on 12/12 cause i was flowering some other strains, but they turned out well and good smoke too.

Just been catching up on your diary mate & good luck with switching to 12/12 as it'll be interesting to see what happens, I also started mine on some grow nutes today although still not sure what I'm going to do with her yet

Top photography Amnesia mate and top diary as usual, hope your well mate?

It seems I also have a Sweet Special that does not want to flower, she looks very very similar to your's and Serpents and of corse she's not flowering I will be watching this one like a hawk, it will be intersting to see how she takes I rekon, and if she does finish in 35-40 days as I'm sure I'v seen Tommy write somewhere then i may just keep hold of her- i.e top her tie her down, keep her trimmed so not to shade out the others, then just flip her at the end.

Nice one for flipping though mate not only does it make it more intersting... it allows us to see how the others will do on 12/12 aswell as what the hell is going on with these 'special' sweets and how they will react

Er13 Welcome to the grow, good to have you here. The next few weeks should get very interesting.

Serpent Interesting times eh?, All the best with whatever you decide and i'm looking forward to hear about it. Congratulations on the Grower of the month too mate, well deserved and if you do choose the Volcano then you're in for some wild times ahead

gthumb_420 I'm looking forward to seeing what becomes of them under 12/12 as i cannot recall seeing another diary using this schedule, of course if my jars were running low then i would of had to reluctantly dispose of them so that the others would get the proper lighting regime. No such problems here though so i'll be happy with whatever they yield.

The Sweet Specials could take a full time 8 weeks or so to flower but on the other hand they could be fast finishers like as you say 35-40 days, exciting times ahead.

wookiem Good luck with your autos mate, it does seem as though they are getting ready for flowering if there are lots of pistils coming out top.

An update will be coming up later this evening or tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY 7 MARCH.

Here we are then on the 5th day of the 12/12 lighting regime, they all seem to be doing fine but i know they would be doing much better with more light. I'm not 100% sure but i think the Sweet Specials are getting ready to bud. Still early days yet as it is only the 5th day of 12/12 and they are doing a little stretch right now so fingers crossed.

Both of the Sweet Specials are on around 3ml per litre of Oldtimer Grow and all of the other plants are on around 2-4ml per litre of Oldtimer Bloom.

Temperatures are very stable in the room at 27c light on and 22c lights off, R/H is around 55% lights on and 65% lights off.

All is going very well so far and next update should hopefully reveal the first budlets of the Sweet Specials.

First the growth rates since the update five days ago.

Sweet Special#1 is 52cm tall. 9cm taller in 5 days.

Sweet Special#2 - 53cm tall. 10cm taller in 5 days.

+Speed#1 - 48cm tall. 0cm taller in 5 days.

+Speed#2 - 54cm tall. 4cm taller in 5 days.

+Speed#3 - 55cm tall. 7cm taller in 5 days.

Green Poison - 63cm tall. 5cm taller in 5 days

As you can see the Sweet Specials are doing a bit of stretching and the others are just finishing up.
