billbud
DAY 7 All seems to be going well, I think I've got my temps dialed in a bit better now fingers crossed, currently sitting at 25.5 but I have very low RH, I've tried a bowl of water and a wet towell but cant seemed to bring it up at all, gonna do some reading on raising RH now. Lights have been on 24/0 and I am switching that to 18-6 as from tonight, I have some foliar feeds that I want to try and its best done at, or close to lights out. Been watered again today, same as before 2.5ml Bio Silicon to 5ltrs water but this time only 250ml in each pot which seemed to be just about right, I trickled the water around the edges of the pots and put very little in the centre, we want them roots to search for their feed, any run off was sucked back up and left very little in the catch trays. The J47 twins are lagging behind everything else, I've placed 1 or 2 pebbles between the stems to force them to grow away from each other. the Sweet Cheeses are doing well, the first set of leaves look a little bent over, I'm putting that down to low RH at the mo but if anyone has any other thoughts feel free to chip in Heres the Cream Caramels A little way behind but not much, looking more uniform than the others tho. and last but not least the J47's I made a veg chart up that I'll fill in and post it weekly. I only started it today so some info is missing but it'll fill up pretty quick, I'll also give it a post of its own to try and keep things tidy. bill Edited November 28, 2011 by billbud

billbud
day 10, potting up I knocked a Sweet Cheese from its pot to have a look at the roots and was stunned by what I saw ,not bad for 10 days, time for pot up me thinks. I started with the Cheese and all 3 had pretty decent roots then the Cream Caramels and the Jack47's,, the later didn't have this much root growth but was still good. I've been waiting for my grow shop to get some 3ltr square pots but he's been dragging his arse a bit so as I'm looking to veg for 30 days I thought I might as well go straight to the final 6ltr ones but with a twist, I knew I'd be tight on soil so sat my plants on an upturned pot inside the finals, make sense? heres some pics the two potsand one inside the other place soil around pot till leveltake your plantand tap her outand place her on top of the upturned potfill with soiland dress with clay pebbles
billbud
Right going to try and get this up quick, I've been trying to update for a few days now but the site has been down a lil bit, also think I lost a post or I was to stoned and didn't post it First up in this update/photoshoot is the Sweet Cheese, these little darlings are very vigorous growers and 1 of the 3 is extremly vigorous and more stretchy, she is 2 inches taller, has more root growth and generally the happiest plant I have, I will have to get a cutting from this pheno for sure.(bottom set of pics) cont...
billbud
next is the Cream Caramel, still very uniform but with slight variation in leaf size, very compact as are all of the plants except the Sweet Cheese I metioned earlier. cont...
billbud
last but not least the Jack47's, out of the 3 strains this one seems to be more fussy/sensitive than the others, I have 1 that is still showing signs of over fert (N I think). This one is in 100% Batmix, its only slight but its there. I have another one in 70/30 Batmix/some organic stuff from b&q (the name escapes me right now) and the twins have been separated, the smaller one was getting left behind and holding back her big sisiter, the small one was cut off with scissors as far down as possible and placed in a pre soaked jiffy pellet then wrapped up in clingfilm. I potted up the reaming twin using 100% of the b&q stuff, I gotta say 2 days after the pot up they have perked up a little fingers crossed. Thanks for stopping by bill
