My new 400W cupboard, 82x51x130(growing space) and an extra 37cm at the top to house the fan. It's an Cheap IKEA type cupboard I'm in the process of putting it together, I've got to wait till payday so i can buy a few fan and filter. I'm thinking of going to the Box Fan's i've seen in the grow shops, you can't even tell it's on, it's a TORIN fan housed in MDF box which foam indulation there is a £30 difference in price between that an the normal inline, but i'm gona try it out.

i have both a MH and a HPS for this cupboard, first for veging all 9 of the seeds then 6 are gona go to the flower box under the 600W. Then two of the lucky ladies I'm gona scrog under the 400W. It will be my first SCROG so i'm sure it's gona be interesting. :russian: but i hope it will work out. :)

The pictures are coming back to front then inside casue i smoked some Black jack auto before i started taking the pictures and my mind was consecrating on the sweet reggae beats I had playing. :stoned:

This exact tune, had me in a trance, what a baseline :)

Right back on topic, seems the BJA still efecting me :smokin:

The cupboard wasn't exactly light proof with a white plastic back so i painted it.

Great skills with the BJ Oska0, Nice choice in strains for the comp mate, careful with the stretch on the cheese, lovely plant with a lean to the sat side, I also chose IceCool this year so will be nice to compare.

Good luck with your grow and build!

I finally got round to taking some pictures of the work so far.

It should look something like this when done but with a fan and filter in there too.

I'm also gona build a scrog screen with screws and washing line.......I think.

You know what it might just be, Well it's a nice way to start my diary off. :stoned: I've been enjoying quite a bit of BJA recently after being without i'm having a gorge moment

And i forgot to answer your question about the fan and filter, I've found the boxfan i want already, it's dead silent and should move 13 times more air than i need so i can have it at a low settling. I have found some filters which are made from plastic, they are really light so it's good with the cupboard thats not overly strong. But i don't know how good they are plus they are really overpriced. I can't get Rhino filters over here so thats out.

All the best with the grow 0ska0, when i first joined 420 there was lots of negativity about the auto variety but since Sweet Seeds come along with their auto strains i have only seen good things about them. From what i see they rival photoperiod types in vigour, stature, and taste/effect, just a smaller yield.

Anyhow these Cream Caramels look very promising indeed looking at mine now at day 28 12/12, so good choice i reckon. I grew the Sweet Cheese in last years Sweet Seeds diaries and they turned out to be a good smoke and the yield was absolutely fantastic!. A word of warning though, mine turned out to be a little stretchy ending up at nearly 6.5ft from soil to tip in a 4 litre pot lol In fairness though i did not do any training on them and i really just let them have their own wicked way. Maybe a good one for topping?

See you soon mate. :yep:

Beanpopper I'm probably gonna stick with a regular Prima filter, I can get CAN filters but i don't know what they are like. I've been using the Prima Filters since i got growing again over here and they seem to be ok, I've have my current one for 7months it's ok but i fear 12/14 months will be the end. Only problem is they are bloody big to replace and throwout. :headpain:

The filters are basically the only thing from my grows that i have to throwout. everything else gets reused or goes into one of my worm farms. I don't really fancy making one when the size prima filter i need for the drobe is £25.

pukka bob I would never have grown an auto if it wasn't for sweet seeds making it so irresistible. I like the BJA great spicy/fruity tones and a lovely high, I haven't grown CCA but i think the Cream Caramel Auto will yield a little more on average. I went for the non Auto CC for this diary.

Amnesia Welcome mate thanks for popping by, I'm generally a topper, except for the autos, I very rarely let a the plants grow to their natural shape, I find i yield more when i top, so I'll definitely be keeping to it for this grow. Thanks for the advice though, seems the Sweet Cheese are definitely looking like good candidates for the SCROG.

I thought i'd post a couple more pics of the work on the drobe. My budget for this drobe really only covered the cupboard, fan & filter. I had the Ballast and reflector already. I've tried to do everything else on the extremely cheap.

This is my high tech light proofing of the door.

My Passive intake (still drilling more holes)

post-32814-0-03874400-1316855107_thumb.jpg

The way my passive will be setup, there is a box on the outside of the cupboard that will help to stop light leaking. pictures to come.

Looking good 0ska0:)

Im thinking the Prima and Can arent half bad , they will need to be replaced more often tho. Can you get active carbon over there it might be cheaper for you refill your filters rather than replacing , but I guess if it only like 25 quid for you buy its not that bad .
