Hi mate! Thanks for the visit and comments! :B):

It's not magnification or zooiming. I use specialized macro lense which allows me to go 1:1, pics with the real size. I can't explain it very well but if you want more info about what 1:1 means, read a bit of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macrophotography

So, the macro pics in this grow diary were made with a Canon EOS 550D and the macro lenses are Sigma 50mm DG 2,8 EX Macro 1:1.

It's not very easy to use, I had to spend many hours trying to catch some good trichomes, but now if I spend 10 minutes shooting I'll get at least 4 or 5 good macros out of it. I also have a Canon MP-E 65mm, which allows to go from 1:1 to 5:1, so I should be abble to get even better macros, but I'm not used to it yet, I need to spend a lot of hours with it before I can make good pics. It's much harder to work than with the Sigma. With this MP-E 65mm you need a perfect lighting and you also need to get the camera stable, because you can't shake at all, not even 1mm... :stoned:

It's hard to me to speak about photography... I learned with experience so I don't have knowledge about much of the technical terms

Sweet smokes!!

COMMENTS

Plant characteristics: Snow Fruit grows very fast and with vigour. This variety produces a good quantity of side branches even when not pruned or trained (LST). If we leave her vegging for some good 25 days she can branch enough to fill a generous grow area with her robustness and a short internodal space. Allows for good results with SCROGs, like in this grow diary. The flowering period is relatively short, mine was ready to harvest with about 60 days of flowering (or around 68 days of 12/12).

Aroma and taste descriptions: Snow Fruit has a very distinctive aroma, with strong fruity tones, like dried fruits and also a little like berrys or blueberries. In the middle of flowering, for about 2 weeks, she had an incredible aroma of hazelnuts. Smelling my fingers after rubbing them in the flowers was almost like shewing a hazelnut. I think that odour was more addictive than smoking/vaporizing the dried and cured flowers. But once she's ready to be consumed the aroma's still very exquisite and special, with a strong taste, slightly sweet, that reminds me of fruits but also of wood. A noticeable hazelnut taste is still present, but not as fresh as the aroma she had when flowering, it is more like toasted almonds or peanuts right now. Also a slightly touch of earth, but fresh and humid like. Sweet and aromatic, as the Sweet Seeds line is in general.

Effect descriptions: Medicinal Indica kind of effect, with some influence also at the mental level, it's slighlty psychoactive also, but just a little bit. It relaxes the body and inspires the mind. Potent enough to put to sleep anyone who is in a calm place and consumes a bit more than the usual dosis. It's a bit intoxicating and so it is a very good choice when the user wants to obtain a strong effect with ony a few puffs, but no so good to when we want to consume more quantity to enjoy the aromas or simply to enjoy the inhalation of her delicious smoke/vapor. Maybe this is not my personal favourite "Sweet Seeds effect", but I like it and it's perfect to have a Snow Fruit jar, to use in certain and determined situations.

Lovely little grow that Tommy :yep:.

I really enjoyed Snow Fruit, lovely short stocky plant to grow with the headiest of smells. After a few months curing it gets ridiculous, my missus could smell I had the jar open when she was in the shower lol. With its viagra like qualities it was her favourite of the three I did this year too .

Hi mates! Thanks for the kind words :yep:

Yes THC4METOO, Snow Fruit stinks, hehehehe, a very strong aroma indeed ;)

Hi cheese_force! Yes, I also haven't seen anyone else doing a net in the pot, hehe, that's an idea that came to my mind about a year ago. Maybe someone did it before, not that I know, but that's possible, so I can't tell if it was invented by me :) Well, the name yes, the NIP style, or the NIP method, was my idea ;)

Anyway I don't think it will make a huge success, it's not very practical and it's the same think as having a net above the pot(s). In such a small box it really helps, or else I would go plan b: cut the pot going from a 18 litre pot to a 10 litre pot, making the structure for the net supported in the pot or in the box and then doing the net. That's the work, time and effort you avoid doing with the NIP method.

But to do it like it should be done I have to make "windows" in the pot, between the soil surface and the net, if you know what I mean.

Keep it sweet, thanks for the visit!! :oldtoker:
