Guest m1da5
Its not all that tbh, unfortunately ur speaking to someone who rigged the biggest sound system in the world for the prodigy @ day trip to tipp, thurles ireland (feile festival). So i know a thing or two about noise. I'd use that many subs to do a small gig. Just as an idea of the scale im talking about i took 40 EXTRA subs to reading for the prodigy this was to add on to the system that was already there, thats an extra 65K

ratdog
I have Bowers and Wilkins speakers I've got a pair of Blueroom House Pods, which are handmade, pre-production models (they never went into full production) using B&W components. Proper speakers though, had some Eltax before, blew them with the Rotel amp, really miss filling the room with the B&W`s, live in a flat now Neighbours to the left... Underwater
I have a quad 33 with a quad 303 power amp through a massive old pair of B & W dm4's for listening to. Powered KRK rp5 monitors through a phonic mixer that takes all my sources for making tunes and mucking about. I have rp8's too but it depend on the size of the room I'm using as to whether they come out or not.
bluecheese1
ive still got the same surround kit i got 8-10yrs ago & have only added a cheapo dvd player to play divx, also haven't made the leap to a flat screen or hd yet, i want to but i dont see the point of replacing something thats not broke. anyway, the speakers are B&Ws cc6 centre, 2 603 s2 floorstanders, 2 601 s2 rears & a rel strata sub. denon A10se thx surround amp, denon mr dvd 5000 (fantastic at dvds & cds but wont play cdrs or dvdrs) samsung mr dvd player (plays everything except bluray/hd) sony 920 tuner & my old trusty sony 32" triniton. all with decent cabling & a optimum glass rack. also got a projector kicking about somewhere with the 8 x 6 ft screen the bulbs currently knackered & they cost 300 quid to replace ! but when it was working, it was excellent, especially with the 5.1, it was also excellent when watching the old footy or porno  dont know whether to get a new bulb, flog the projector & when the trinitron chucks it, invest in something to hang on the wall

INGSOC
Plenty of ppl on here like music , some even make music so 1 or 3 of ya might be into your audio , so heres a thread to show it off in not interested in wots best/most expensive just curious what ya play yer tunes on ill start with a couple o bits Harmon Kardon AVI200 amp rega p3 deck ill post speakers ect if any1 is interested in this thread I've got a Naim NAC 102 pre-amp and Naim NAP 180 power amp, running a pair of mordaunt shorts and a pair of kef speakers in another room, controlled through a speaker switch. I've ripped all my CD's to flac format and stream these through a logitech squeezebox. Also got a seperates digital radio plugged into the amps. It's a good stoner's setup, means I never have to get off the sofa, I can just control it all through the squeezebox remote control.

Golden Green
Some very nice hi-fi on here - for me, Naim equipment and a Linn turntable is the holy grail. I've been lucky enough to listen to some very expensive hi-fi in my time but sadly my system seems to dead Arcam Alpha 5 + CD Quad 33/303 (the power amp is fucked and too broke to get it fixed!) Mission 731le's Chord Chameleon and profile 8 cabling
