kookachu Posted March 2, 2010 Author Share Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) thanks weedmonsta.. did have a look at speed devil, but opted for these based on the veg times for my non-autos.. that said, it'll probably be at least 8 weeks looking at their progress. 7 weeks from seed is 19 days away, so they'd have to transform pretty quick. will defo check out your journal.. 2 oz sounds pretty good to me! and after the easy ride (so far, at least) of the Fastbud, I'd definitely like to try some more SS genetics. kookachu Posted March 4, 2010 Author Share Posted March 4, 2010 Well I dunno if I'm trippin, but the back left fastbud just made a serious rush for the sky... probably about third taller than it was 2 days ago.. mental All still filling out and looking good. Well I got what I wished for. looks like slight mg def.. am treating with foliar epsom salts every other day after lights out. They smell beautiful.. Loads of pictures today.. I'll take some more tomo and stick em up anyway.. things are looking good.. the mg def appears to be clearing up very quickly.. the plants are visibly bigger every day. kookachu Posted March 13, 2010 Author Share Posted March 13, 2010 day 41 veg... have been slacking with the updates i know but the FB are doing great.. cops been sniffing round my street all week. there was a murder about 20 houses along on monday, and a grow op bust over the road yesterday. they must have pulled about 10 big arse lights out of there. also it's not a dodgy area, and that is unheard of...so my nail-biting routine is workin fuckin' over time to say the least. You're need to go well past day 54 though by the looks of them. Good luck and keep us updated The wasp won't do any damage to plants, in fact it would probably snack on pests if they turned up, can't blame you for releasing it, would have given me quite a shock! kookachu Posted March 21, 2010 Author Share Posted March 21, 2010 (edited) Thanks guys, they are looking like they'll beef up nicely in the next few weeks... unfortunately had to go away on wednesday morning and literally just got back now.. to find temps have been around 31c for the last few days I asked my girl to pop in and water on friday but she said she didn't want to fuck em up Will definitely wait until they look alright trich-wise.. as much as I'd love to chop on day 56 I will wait. I've chopped early in the past and regretted it. Problem is, I need to flip to 12/12 asap really as my other 10 girls are getting bushy as hell... How badly do you think being on 12/12 for the next 3 weeks would affect the Fastbud? - I might have to do it. Some of the fan leaves were slightly droopy, they seem to be yellowing a bit too much but shouldn't be a problem tbh. I watered today and may water again lightly tomo.. buds are looking nice... Interesting comparing the structure of each of them... seem to have 3 about the same.. main cola and a mini-cola either side; one is growing like a hashberry... basically a candy floss type mass of bud on a stick and the last is the tallest, with minor (or maybe just slower) growth on the side branches and a tall, thin main cola... will probably be able to check these more once I've chopped. Hope you don't mind my 2p worth but what are you feeding them with, they look pretty hungry. Also have you given any epsom salts, looks like they could be a little short on the magnesium too :wink: Lastly in my opinion it's best to remove those yellow leaves (especially the crispy ones), they're no use to the plant and any dead material hanging around is likely to provide a potential breeding ground for pathogens.
