The blue plastic crate has worm castings that are now 6 months old. The other is a supermarket crate that i lined with free newspapers first.

Amazing work, mate. I slept two-three hours last night and just keep reading about worms.

I'm thinking to make a guerilla vermicomposting :-) as I live near the forest area and only dog walkers roaming from time to time...

What you feed them if you don't mind to share? As I understand 60%-70% carbon and and 30% nitrogen.

Watched BAS video with one of his suppliers - COWC - Colorado Worm Casting company  and their castings has a good reputation. They creating ultra-quality, tea-grade, vermi-dynamic compost containing generous amounts of trace elements, exchangeable cations, and Organic matter.

Wish to know and learn to make same.

Can someone shed the light please?

When green leaves dries out they turns from green material N to brown material C.

Does food waste work this way too?

I have too much green food waste and thinking to dry it out to turn into brown material so I can mix it with my green/fresh food scraps to feed the worms accordingly C to N ratio

Or I'm just thinking nonsense.

Thanks
