2023: HUGE plants, (almost) no flowers. :-(

I've nothing to compare it to as it's my first proper outdoor grow, but the weather has definitely had an effect this year. Reckon the very wet and cold May set lots of crops back. My tomatoes are late compared to last year, my peppers too. So not really surprised to see full season cannabis flowering a bit later than expected. Some fast and early versions are in flower, but again a bit later than anticipated. Just have to see how it goes I suppose...

Yup. My tomatoes and peppers are late too, as are the hedge blackberries and the apples and plums come to that. We seem to have had a much longer growing period than the recent (very dry) years. Fingers crossed for a dry October though.

Only done autos outdoors in my greenhouse and from around late June they slowed right down with the bad weather so photo periods must be affected.

My peppers are only just showing fruit and I've had three lots of roses after pruning so far. It's like an extended season.

Best of luck everyone :yep:

I didn't do outdoors but this seems like far worst season in a while and am on lat45,we had hail storms and storms with winds around 120km/h followed by floods and weeks of 36c plus,am guessing what storm's didn't take out mould did.

Dunno about that, at least in my area October is usually the wettest month of the year... :(

I've a feeling there's gonna be lots of huge plants this season that just dont finish :wallbash:

Photos?

Some are a bit more light sensitive than others..maybe fast/semi autos would suit you as they trigger a bit earlier

June is usually very dry, and was severely dry this year, almost no rain at all. In my area, July is usually the second wettest month on average, after October. The really weird thing this year was the extremes. May is often cold, but not usually so wet. June was like a desert. July was incredibly wet, really crazy. Now we have a very hot September. Even when the rain arrives, temperatures are forecast to be more like those we usually get in July...

That's all just about my area, other places have probably not seen such a wet summer in many years...

I wouldn’t stress too much, a lot of bits from the RGS stable are slow to get going but soon catch up, as they mostly all do.large.9D9F16DD-E06E-4943-ABED-45B7BE2003F9.jpeg  Here’s a snap of Exo Gold bx1 22 October 22. This is probably the sort of date you should be looking at.
If they’re any later it’d only be by a few days as the light ques with force them to finish.
( Or how much time you can stand em going mouldy….Let’s hope not)

Your Lat is one of the lowest in the UK so you will be ahead of me slightly with shorter light duration than at Lat 51. But spare a thought for the higher Lat guys who will be days or even a week or more behind us.

On a size note, you can rig a line and pull the tops down (LST).
If they’re real big make sure you stake or Bamboo then securely.
GL…Be patient.

June July August are usually fairly good on the south coast with the odd exception.

This year July and early - mid August it's been like October , almost autumn like.  It's no wonder things are still catching up. But you know , mother nature has a way of balancing things out....I'm sure she'll get her act together

Totally agree, although seems a later trigger than normal.rgs are hardy as fook. I cropped a fast zkittles 11th November last year what a beauty, fully fully cooked 5 percent rot.53 lat. That's a lovely looking exo. Yet to do one. What's smoke like? Is it cheesy?
