It almost looks to me like the visible damage we can see might have been caused by topping of the plant a week or two ago and there’s been a bit of collateral damage?

Hows their environment?

It’s quite possibly too much light for her at this stage,

how much power are you giving them?

There’s definitely something eating that 1 plant it’s obvious chew marks if you look closely… sorry crap photos.

Lights only on 25% humidity about 70 and temp is ok as well… lights about 500mm above plants.

made a boo boo as well that I didn’t mention… misplaced a bag of coco so mixed compost with coco to bulk it out but still fed them all the same amount. Could it be over feeding?

cheers

How much coco did you add?

What compost did you add it to?

Some compost mixes are already around 40% coco(Tropic mix for example).

I don't think it's overfeeding though.

Compost is Clover but not the peat moss and it’s happening to some of the plants that have only coco so I think your right.

It’s a bit sweaty I’m there and the light is possibly a little low so I’ve move the light up a little and put a fan on to dry it out a bit.

we shall see….

humidity had gone up to 80 and temp is about 68F but won’t be for long because the fan is blowing in colder air. I’ll check tomorrow night, fingers crossed it will cure some issues.

thsnks again.

Hi All,

There is a little helper I found in the mix.

All looking good after a bit of a issue that I think was a mix of light being too close and not enough airflow. I’ve stripped a few leaves from each plant to give the new growth a chance to spread out.

Little pile of leaves that have been cut off.

All ready to flip to bloom….

Looking better now I’ve realised I wasn’t adding and Vitalise! Also turned the light to 50%

Flicked onto 12/12… might have gone a little too long on the veg after looking at how big they can go but all looking pretty good atm

4 smaller on left are the Triton Biscotto lime which I’m really looking forward to… sounds like a great smoke.

5 larger on right are the Mandarin Panties.

they are all really full looking short stubby plants but looking at other grow diaries they get really tall???

Having to strip leaves off to get the light into the middle of the plants daily.

peace. :bong:

Mandarin Panties: All look fairly healthy, had to strip a lot of foliage off them as they were getting no light to the new growth. Hoping for a bit of stretch now but they are all quite squat it’s a a nice even canopy so not too much of an issue.

Triton Biscotto Lime: All a little smaller but much the same as a above.

Pile of leaves that we’re getting in the way of the new growth. Rotting them down to use othdoor.

3 on left and front middle are Triton Biscotto Lime, rest are Mandarin Panties.

If anyone sees anything I could be doing to get better results I’m all ears.

Peace out :bong:

I was just wondering if you have to make any correction to your tap water?

I'll bet its got plenty of Calcium :)

I'm seeing what might be a Magnesium issue,

but it could be an environment issue.

How are the temperatures and RH?

Light height above the canopy and current power level?

Tap water just gets left in light for a day in accordance to what the guy at the grow shop says is best with Mills feeds. I’ve never corrected it 6.0 - 6.5 most of the time.

Temp stays around 65F

RH is 55 approx but goes up to 65 after watering.

Power is at 50% and about 600mm above plants.

To be honest I literally water feed as per the manual but haven’t gone to lengths to make the environment perfect…. I’ve always managed to get a nice smoke with decent size, compact good smelling bud. Always thought the dry and cure was the most important part?

you might say I’m an indoor  :cowboy:

If you're growing under LEDs it really helps to get your Calcium:Magnesium ratio at 3:1 ;)

Hi All,

been a little lacking in the diary due to an extremely busy schedule the last week…

Seem to have to strip foliage every time I water at the moment to get light into the new growth and middle of the plant. I’ve got a 20lt bucket full so far rotting away for compost.

Mandarin Panties just started to flower looks nice and healthy imo albeit a bit stubby.

All seem happy enough… put the light up to 75% only issue is the fact they are stubby so I’m having to strip the foliage off the especially the Triton Biscotto lime.

Just started to flower nicely TBL

Honestly think I should have done them in separate runs as it’s a little bit cramped. 5 would have been plenty that way I could have bent and stretched them to get the light in better. We live and learn!

mandarin panties:

looking really healthy and have stretched a bit more. Got high hopes for these and I’ve never smoked it before so looking forward to that. If anyone has let me know what it’s like please.

Triton Biscotto Lime:

Still a bit short and stumpy but still look good nice and healthy.

I let them dry out a little more than usual and they have responded well think over watering was a bit of an issue… won’t make that mistake again!
