RUFUS HOUND
7 hours ago, Shumroom said: Thanks very much @shire All 10 seeds have now germinated successfully It's been tricky making sure that the peat pellets don't dry out too much(remember to visit them every 24 hours ). I do have the heat mats set to 26°C, to help keep the temperature up, I'm trying to hold off from turning on the wee tube heater but it's definitely starting to get colder now. One of the Mack and Crack seedlings was wilted when I was checking on them yesterday because the pellet had totally dried out oops. Normally I would wait for some roots appearing out of the pellets before potting up, I might pot them up sooner than later I made up a new litre of feed: 2ml/l of Seaweed extract and 2ml/l of Intense Kickstart. I nudged the dimmer on the quantum board, bringing the LEDs up to around 60W(tent size is 1.2m x 60cm x 1.2m). Hopefully you have a great weekend Atb What light do you have in that space - sorry if its been mention
Shumroom
No worries @RUFUS HOUND I've got two lights in the Homebox due to the rectangular shape The one on this side is a Highlight220 The one on this side is a 75W quantum board Both lights were purchased from @Ledgrowlights-Adam So I've got a little UVA from the Highlight220 and some far Red and Infra Red from the quantum board. Shumroom
The Homebox Vista tent is only 1.2m tall @RUFUS HOUND At most I'm using about 120W split between the 2 lights when the plants can take it Atb
Shumroom
More Photos Mack and Crack Triton Biscotti Lime Above and below are the same seedling For some reason a couple of the my photos didn't upload properly When checking this morning, the M&C were looking a bit stressed so I turned that quantum board back down. Using 50W in total with the highlight around 30W. Thanks for looking Atb

Shumroom
I've turned the tube heater on in the Homebox tent as temps were regularly down below 24C, now things are warmer again it's on it's own thermostat so it might take a couple of days to get it right. The Mack and Crack are growing nice and healthy but every one of them has damage from the previous stress. The Triton Biscotto Lime are coming along nicely, i did notice some interesting leaf shape on one them. I'll take some new photos of them all at some point over the next few days Take care

Shumroom
Photos Here's the current layout The empty pots are there to help keep RH at decent levels A new gadget for checking air quality(ignore the numbers, I've only just put it there). The Mac and Crack The Triton Biscotto Lime Still no sign of any roots popping out of any of the pellets yet so I'll not be potting them up yet @Seedstockers-Mark I'll just tag you again cos I think you might not have noticed that these are up and running I've managed to get the tube heater keeping air temps around 29C, which is tickety boo. That's all for the noo. Atb Edited October 22, 2022 by Shumroom @Mark
RUFUS HOUND
looking good mate, you planning on running some CO2 in the future? You seem to have your temp probe in a dish of water, can I ask why?
Shumroom
Maybe, but I won't know if it's necessary or not It's more about trying to eliminate a potential bottleneck in the system. Yeah the tip of the temp probe is in the tray of water because trying to monitor the temp of a tiny pellet is hit or miss because they are so small, so I just monitor the temp of the water bath which is being heated from below just like the seedlings and also very slightly increasing the RH, which can become quite low in the relatively large space of my nursery tent. Shumroom
Update All seedlings have been potted up(a little late for some but a little early for others). I've used Ecothrive coco with perlite, because I've had the bag sit there for over a year and I thought I'd give it a go. I also gave some trichoderma and mycorrhizae during the potting up, then watered in with some Intense Kickstart plus MagCal and Foundation, also a drop of Tribus. I didn't take any photos as I've been really busy today, plus the MAC look a bit ropey as they were the ones that were over due to be potted up. They'll sort themselves out now they've got some space to spread out. The TBL are looking good, as they've been a little slower out of the blocks That's all for now.
